Remarks
Admission in Delhi University colleges was primarily based on marks scored in 12th. The cutoff list is released by the college for admissions into different courses. Generally marks in 12th should be around 95 to get admission in the 4th or 5th list. I have not applied through any quota but there are various quotas available to take admission based on that.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was similar to earlier years. There was no change in it. Faculties in the college are engaging and some of them are very helpful as compared to others This course has vast opportunities. Term exam was held every semester and that was not that easy and neither too difficult. Average marks can be scored easily.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are available for all the students studying in the college and have relevant skills or interest. Many startups generally hire students for marketing internships and Commerce related work. Generally, internships are offered for HR and digital marketing internships are provided.
Placement Experience
For internships, any student if get can join, but for placements generally, third year student is eligible to take part in it. Companies like Infosys visit the campus for recruiting process. The average package was around 3 LPA. Generally, placements are for Commerce students. I am preparing to go for masters after the graduation degree. The percentage of students getting placed is not good. Only a few students are placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of our course are minimal as compared to other courses. It is around 12k in a year. You can get scholarships if you are eligible. The college has a Campus Placement cell that provides jobs and internships to the students. Jobs are the majority for commerce students and many students go for masters after pursuing graduation. There are many Scholarships that one can get based on their eligibility.
Campus Life
Generally, annual fests are held at the beginning of the year in the month of February. There is a big library on the campus, where you can get all the books easily. There is a big sports ground available in the college. There is majority number of societies available in the college where you can take part to improve your social life. Debating Societies like Nimbus provide opportunities to improve communication skills.
