If you are interested in Hospitality sector Its the best place to study and get knowledge

I wanted to choose IHM Bangalore only from start but I also selected IHM Chennai as a backup as if I didn't get a chance In Bangalore due to my rank but I got selected. The minimum criteria for general class in 2018 were nchmjee rank till 1500 I got a rank of 1232 minimum age is 16 years. The admission process was quite simple as I still remember the 3rd year was helping the college staff with the counseling of the students which was carried smoothly

I choose this course I always wanted to work In a 5star Hotel in a managerial post. The faculty to students ratio is 1:25. But all the faculty is highly graduated in the field and have a lot of experience and knowledge. Their teaching methods are also simple to grasp. The term exam held after every semester which was of 17 weeks and the exams were moderate as if you study for the exams we'll you will make it through.

After you are done with your 5th semester you are eligible for the campus placements. Several big companies visit every year like Taj Groups, ITC Hotels, Accor Hotels, Puma, etc as the offers given by them are quite good for a fresher. The college is well known for its placements and they have a 100% placement record. I am currently planning to do a master's in my course.

The fee is a little high as you know it is a government college but the cost of the subjects you are taught requires a lot of things which makes it suitable for the fees which they ask. I did not get any scholarships as there aren't any. I am still in my last sem so I am yet to get a job

The annual fest is the famous Theme launch which takes place in the month of February every year which is based on a different cuisine food and other cultural activities and attracts a lot of people of the Hospitality sector in the city. Amenities for each subject which is taught is present in class as there are different classes for each main subject such as Front Office, Food Production, etc. Each main department has a group of their own which is chosen by the students who are interested in that department and wanted to boost their careers in that department.

The room has all basic facilities like a bed, cupboard, fan, chair, etc. The mass has a common Television for all students. The food is quite good as of the standards of a government institution. The registration of the hostel is done at the time of the counseling and if you apply for it I am sure you will get it as the hostel has a lot of rooms to accommodate.
