60% marks with any recognized university followed by a test or merit-based admission. I took admission and post-graduation in Sam Higginbottom University Prayagraj SHIATS. But for graduation minimum of 60% marks with any recognized school followed by a test or merit-based admission. Good Agriculture college with good subjects and various branches for Agriculture.
Course Curriculum Overview
The exams are conducted twice every year. The first is mid-term exams the second one is end-term examinations. The level of difficulty is medium, but you have to study every module for clearing the exams. Although the number of faculties as per students in my department is low otherwise it is enough at the university level.
Internships Opportunities
Advanta, UPL, VNR, Syngenta, are the companies came for internship programs. Still, there are many students left who are not getting any internship from the college campus. There are no such projects or outcomes to clarify the tasks.
Placement Experience
Students from 1st year are eligible for the campus internships program. But only final year students got the opportunity for placement program. There are 5-6 companies that visited the campus for placement. I believe only 30-40 Percent of students got the chance to be placed in the good company.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are reasonable but they keep on increasing every year by some Percent. Scholarships are available each and every year. Some faculty members are really supportive not all. The campus tries to provide placement and internship opportunities but still, the placements are not provided to 100% of students.
Campus Life
There are fests that are conducted but due to pandemics, there will be no such gathering for a fest or something. There are several books and journals in the library. The amenities in the classrooms are not up to mark. There is only one classroom in the whole department with a projector and air conditioning known as a smart class, which I personally don't believe is enough.
Interview Experience
There was no GD or Interview conducted during my admission as my admission was merit-based and in the corona pandemic. The process of admission is via test or merit-based but I don't have to all this as I got direct admission.
