To take admission in NIST, we have to appear for the OJEE enterence exam conducted by Odisha technical department or those who have her mains ranking can go for counseling. And on the basis of your performance, College will be alloted. After getting NIST in counseling all the information and contact with the college was through the mail. We provided the 10th and 12th documents and paid the admission fees and we were in.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose NIST as one of my elder brother's friends has passed out from here and referred me to join NIST. and I am glad to be here. The professors are highly experienced and all are PhD. They make us learn every topic with ease. the student ratio is about 8:2 as there are fewer no. Of girls in the as compared to boys. there are 2-semester exams in a year and many suprise test and quizzes throughout the year
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fees are about 95000 per annum for BTECH which is low as compared to other colleges which makes it affordable. And there is almost no fee hike in the past 5 years. The college offers up scholarship on the basis of our performance in the end semester every year and also give tution fees waiver scholarship to Odisha students.
Campus Life
We have a nature-rich campus with good infrastructure and peaceful surroundings situated near the Chennai-Kolkata highway. We have many social and cultural events throughout the year like jamming, an annual cultural fest called WAVES, and many sports tournaments like cricket, basketball etc. There are many clubs like NIST, consultancy service, dance group, elite group etc. to enhance our personality.
