Great Experience

The admission process the Kelkar college is very smooth. If you find yourself in any doubt, the staff is always ready to help you out and find you the easiest way to solve your problem. On my admission day, I remember I had forgotten to take one document along with me and it was the last day of the Bcom admission. I had almost gotten the admission but was stuck in the last verification process because of that document. The staff was very supportive of me, I got back, collected the document and my verification process was started right from where I left with the help of the admission committee.

The exam conduction by the college is very efficient and smooth. We third-year students had to give an exam online but the conduction of the exam was really great and also along with utmost sincerity. We were told to keep the videos on for the examination so there were no copy cases, the system was efficient and there was rarely any technical error.

I have been a student of B.Com which does not have direct placement from the college but we do have a group where the examination committee keeps us updated about the latest job opportunities, internships available. It also allows the students to share if any opportunity is available in the group. I feel that job placements shall be available for regular courses like B.Com as well which aren't there but the examination committee helps with updating us. Job placements or campus interviews arranged for self-financing courses include paid internships for banking, accounting, marketing, etc.

I got a job with stipend in a Udgama Software and Systems Pvt Ltd which was suggested to us by the examination committee and now I have been working there for 5 months. Job placements for self-financing courses in the college are pretty good and are worth opting for.

After I completing my graduation last year i.e, in 2020 in B.Com (Batchelor of Commerce), I was looking for an internship, for BCom there is no direct placement but the examination committee is always there to help the students looking out for jobs, internships. The fees for Bcom were pretty reasonable ranging between 5000-8000 per year. And considering the quality of education, they provide the fees sound pretty minimal.

Kelkar college has been a hub of enthusiastic students. The students are always looking forward to conducting social activities, events, etc. While I was in college, I had participated in the dance group and we also won inter-college competitions. There is an ELA group English Literature Association for the students who have a keen interest in literature. Kelkar college has Dimensions fest organized every year and most of the initiatives are of the students. Right from security to hospitality to food to programs to volunteering everything is managed by the students themselves with the guidance of teachers.
