Remarks
Admission to this College is based on Jee mains marks or a rank in COMEDK exam conducted by Karnataka education department. After the counseling, certain documents of class 10th and 12th had to be submitted and fees were paid, and the admission was over. I took admission during covid lockdown so all these processes were online and we were instructed for the further requirements through mails.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this stream as I have a deep interest in computer science and coding. Here, you get to interact with great teachers during the course study. They help us a lot with the topics. All the faculties are Ph.D. holders and some of them have master's degrees from the top colleges of Bangalore. Talking about the exams, we have 2 semesters in a year including lab tests and one mid-semester in between them. The exam is not so hectic as we get enough time to prepare for and the marking system is also good.
Internships Opportunities
The College brings us different internship opportunities from different startups and tech components where students are also provided with stipend and experience certificate which helps them further to get placed themselves in big companies. The internship also helps students to prepare for placement test rounds and interviews.
Placement Experience
The placement of this College is good and about 90% of students got placed every year. Many companies like TCS, Accenture,Tech Mahindra,Cisco, etc visits the campus every year. The highest package goes up to 25-28 lakh per annum and almost about 10 students get more than 20 lakh packages every year. The average package is also impressive which ranges from 5-6 lakh per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees per annum are around 2.2 lakh which is a bit high. Bank provides us the assistant but the College does provide any. This College is one of the expensive colleges in Bangalore and Sadly, the College doesn't provide any scholarship.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of DSCE is one of the best in Bangalore and it feels good to be here. We have one of the biggest auditoriums where many events are organized. There are a basketball court,gym area, and football court where we can enhance our sports skills. There are also different social and technical groups which one can join and can learn some extra stuffs which helps us further in an internship.
