Internship Opportunities

I applied only for this college only and not any other college because this is the best I could find for me in Kolkata. Being a general category student I availed no quota. The admission criteria are like, first after filling the form we had to appear for the JEMAT exam (compulsory for MAKAUT colleges) then after securing the cutoff we get call and mail from the college; GD and PI are then organized by the college and based on merit admission id given to a student.

MBA is a must for today's world career and it also provides a secure work life. The ratio stands as 1:7. The faculty members are extremely knowledgeable and this college provides the best faculty group in Kolkata as per my opinion. Exams are taken very seriously here and are organized very efficiently keeping the syllabus in mind.

Berger Paints India, ITC Limited, Sheltown, Grow up Advisory, CRY, Airkings, Ramco cement, Accelot, Dabur, etc are the company approached for internships. Different companies offer different payouts depending on the performance. Market Research, financial filling, sales are the roles they look into.

Students are eligible for campus placements after the 2nd Semester. HCL, OYO, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Dabur, ITC, BYJUs, etc. are brands that visit our college. The highest package was offered 9 LPA by OYO and the average package is somewhat around 4.5LPA. 80% of students are able to crack placements from our college. I am actually looking for an FMCG company after the degree from campus placements.

This college asks for a total of 5,51,000/-; 51,000/- at the time of admission and 1,25,000/- per semester. Scholarships are provided to the meritorious students and also provide several internships to each candidate. I personally got internships in ITC Limited and Berger Paint India through college.

Life at the campus is full of activities, IGNACIA is the annual management fest conducted every year especially after 1st semester every year. Books and journals are present in ample amounts in the college library which is accessible to every student. Separate benches, projectors, marker Boards are present in every classroom. The college consists of the big playground where students can play football, cricket, basketball, etc. and there is also a music room, a common space, a canteen and many more for students to take part in.

JEEMAT Exam, secure the cutoff, get a call or mail from college, appear for GD, after selection appears for PI, deposit admission amount , congratulations you are in.
