Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very helpful to all of the students if they try and learn hard. And the syllabus is very attractive and very informative. We are going many industrial visit. Our faculty members are awesome. Our ex Dean Mr. Sujit Mukherjee sir was my favourite.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 270000 per year

Job opportunities are not so much good offered by our College. They done tiups with many companies.

Technical skills are not required in our college. Our college helps students to build their cultural skills. they take us many industries to increase our management and business skill. Our college organised every year many festivals.

Fees and Financial Aid

None. No facilities offered by my college. I have enough marks in HS. But scholarship and loan nothing was available in my college. I've told them to provide me a loan. But they didn't. For financial support I reviews BIMS 2 out of 10.

Campus Life

Sports is the emotion of BIMS. We participate every single sports. Football is my favourite in college. Wi fi connection is so good to us. and library size is so bigger.and lab is awesome. I have spent my times in lab.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are 1bhk. Their is 3beds and we each share every beds. We live in a PG. Their monthly cost 5000. But if the college provide us a hostel this was very nice to us. We can live, Read,Play with proper guidance.

Hostel Fee: INR 48000 per year

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

So I am in the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Institute of Management Science, Kolkata right now. There is no quota section. The minimum mark for applying is 60% with English as a common subject. Previously I completed BBA from the same institution. The senior professors are amazing, they are more like friends. One can approach them with any question without any hesitation. The environment was very nice. But now I regret taking admission here because the higher authorities are more into politics. Student's interests are not being taken care of.
