Dayalbagh Educational Institute- Engineering life

Applied to a few more colleges and the reason for not attending them is simple- Dayalbagh was the best among all. No, I did not avail of any kind of quota. The interview call was based on the 12th grade marks along with the JEE Mains marks for Engineering. The interview was judged based on the performance and the certificates. There was the medical examination and then followed by the registration and then we were given our respective branches after the counselling.

As an only 12th pass out kid, I found Electrical engineering very interesting among all the other branches. And why only B.tech, I was always interested in Science and wanted to learn more in the very field. Faculty is on the best faculties out there especially THE FACULTY OF ENGINEERING. When it comes to knowledge or imparting knowledge to students, They are hands down really good. The student ratio was a little like this, Girls: Boys = 1:3. All the teachers were highly qualified (IIT and IIIT Passouts), and most of the teachers were brilliant and taught nicely. We had CAs, DHAs, Internal exams, External exams. DHAs were the daily home assignment. CAs were the class assignment, basically, the class tests that were 15 minutes long and happened once every week for every subject. Internally used to occur twice in a semester. Externally used to occur once in the semester.

The best fees structure. Nowhere else it is found that the salary is 12000 only for one semester. Dayalbagh educational institute is a deemed university and really cost effective. None. I did not personally apply for any scholarship.

The annual fest is SAMPRAVAH and one drawback that I found were no clubs and the cultural fests were not entertained that much. Mostly, whatever the books we required, we were provided with the same at the beginning of the semester. In case, we required some other leaves, we could visit the library and assign the book for us. Sports are an important part of Dayalbagh's education. They treat it like a subject and every student has to attend one period where they can learn and improve their sport. No, I do not have any website or clubs currently available with me right now.
