Review for Poornima University

My uncle lived in Jaipur, Rajasthan and I wanted to live with my uncle . I also wanted to do B.tech in Mechanical Engineering and have found that Poornima University is one of the best university for B.tech program in Jaipur. So I have applied for B.tech Mechanical Engineering in Poornima University through online application and got selected the university's own entrance test.

I want to be a efficient mechanical Engineer with the special knowledge regarding the design of mechanical system I chose this course. The course curriculum gave the opportunity to learn about the automotive systems, combustion engineering, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, control of dynamic systems, design of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes and systems, tribology, materials behavior and processing etc.The faculty memebers of my department was very much skilled and upto date with the modern teaching methods. They are not only concerned about the academic prosperity but also concerned about the development of soft skills of me and my friends and make us eligible for industry exposer.

I am highly satisfied with the placement opportunity of my university. The recruting companies are- Infosys, Genpact, Capgemini, TCS, Wipro, Capital First, Delloite, Mobzay, Emporis, Adani etc. 90% friends of my course got placed in the above mentioned companies. I personally did not appear for any placement as my dream was to do M.tech in my course.

For my course I paid Rs.57500 in every semester. I also had to pay administrative fee Rs.10000, Caution money Rs.5000(refundable). My university provides various scholarships like Merit Based Scholarship, Gayatri Girls Scholarship, Sports Scholarship, Tribute to Martyrs Scholarship. According to the rule of selection in Gayatri Girls Scholarship( First 3 females from every course is eligible and must have 60% marks in eligibility exam) I got selected for the Gayatri Girls Scholarship which helped me to afford the course fees.

I have experienced a well campus life in my University. Environment of the whole campus is no doubt very pleasant and all the classrooms of my university is equipped with free wifi connection, LAN, Projectors. I have also used the facility of e-books , well furnished computer lab, E-learning rooms that supports the use of e-learning across the institution. During my leisure period I used to go to the cafeterias which provides fresh fruit juices, vegetarian/non vegetarian snacks, ice creams, etc. Besides, I have also enjoyed and participated in International and National Conferences, Cultural events, Workshop on personality Development Program,.I have also attend a training program on Technical Writing and Personal Development where Mr. Sandeep Menghani, Motivational Speaker and Professional Trainer was the Chief Guest . My university also have health clinic, Mini market, Laundry services, Banking and ATM services, Transport facility etc.

I lived in the Poornima University's Girl's Hostel which have all modern facilities and other recreational facilities.I have stayed in AC room but the hostel also have non-ac rooms. In each and every room has attached washroom (except in certain dormitory rooms), bed (without mattress), table, chair and storage unit. Me and my hostel friends are also permitted to keep certain electrical devices like electrical iron, laptop, mobile charger, hair trimmer and hair dryer. I also got the facility of veg and non veg meal in alternative days.
