Remarks
It's the best state run college in Kerala, the fee is low. Bad aspects being, it's a very old college and so the furniture and classrooms are very old and battered up. The buildings are old and dusty. But the people there are amazing. Everything about the college is too nice. The tech fests, the cultural fests, department fests, everything is very enjoyable and bright. I've had my best memories made with my friends from that college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Highly qualified faculty with in-depth knowledge in their respective domains, follows the conventional teaching methods. The student-teacher ratio is quite impressive and high, especially in my department.
Placement Experience
Placement starts in 7th semester. I didn't sit for placements as core civil engineering companies that came for placements were low. I'm planning got higher education. CET has a good name and is quite popular in Kerala, so it's easier to get job in Kerala after graduating from CET.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is low compared to other institutes which is one main advantage. Musky tech companies come for campus recruitment in our college with attractive salary packages. There are scholarships available for students from low income families.
Campus Life
It was the best. The people, the vibes, the overall energy of the campus, the hostel life. I miss it all. We had digital boards. There was a physical education department with indoor courts for basketball, badminton etc.
Admission
Yes, Kerala Entrance (KEAM) I didn't prepare for it any extra. I was in a CBSE school and the preparation for the final exams were enough for keam as well since CBSE board covers almost everything required for entrance exams.
