1) it was a Government engineering College (No Fee)2)The college situated in Idukki3) The climate in idukki4) The natural beauty of Idukki5) Lot of tourist places near by6) The temperature in my College place was always between 8-25 which is a factor for me to join7) It's not a peaceful place8) Can do lot of activities in weekends (Trekking, Swimming from Water falls,etc)9)The disadvantages are to go to home i need to travel alot.Idukki to cochin will be very fun ride because we go through a forest area.But after that it's very bad experience10) Another disadvantage is we don't get a town experience in there
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because i was passionate about being a cse engineer.I got a government collegeIt has it's own demeritsThe facilities are very goodThey have a lot of knowledge about the course they teach and we can approach them alwaysA class has min 55-60 students which will go upto 65-70 maximum.My college had 5 courses (cse,IT,ME,ECE,EEE)So total of 300-330 students was there in one yearWith 4 year there is almost 1000 students including PG courseAnd arround 100 faculties will be there including staffs and admin team
Internships Opportunities
I had done 2 internship during my college timeThose were free internshipOne was cyber security which help me to learn about different cyber security threats and how they handle themSecond one was about the Programing languageI learned about different languages industry using and trending languages at that time and etc
Placement Experience
From 6th semester they starts to train us for placements.They provide Aptitude leaning classesWhich will help us to improve our timing of exam and more shortcuts to find an answerIn 7th sem they will starts to assist for campus interviewThey will select a student as a representative from each department and they will inform all the students about the placements.When the company arrives they will select students for aptitude exams according to their requirementsEach year min 50 students gets placed
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees are free as it's a government collegeIf you need to stay private then you will cost arround 2500-4000 per month including Fud.If it's a government hostel then it will be arround 1600-2000 per month including fud.They are providing assistance for campus jobs.During my last year 70-75 students were placed accross 18 different companiesAnd they provide mock interviews and aptitude practices during 3&4 th year
Campus Life
There is a technical festival which called tech fest which is happening for 3 days Lot of tech related stuffs willl be shown thereLot of compition will take placeAnd on each night there willl be special program with a special judge who will be a celebrity according to that fieldAnd there is Arts and sports which will happen each year
