Remarks
On the basis of my JEE marks I was getting IIIT but the fee for courses there were very high, on the other hand MBM ENGINEERING COLLEGE is college founded in 1950 so it's roots are very strong and it's mining branch is on another level so I opted for it and I'm really happy today. Soon college will become an University so a lot more to come.
Course Curriculum Overview
No mine exists in India in which there are no mining engineers from MBM,so this gives idea of greatness of Mining department of MBM. Student Ratio is 6:1 which according to me is very nice. Every teacher knows every student by his/her name. In college you will also get too much time to spend in other activities of your interest.
Internships Opportunities
If you are from MINING BRANCH then you don't need to do anything you'll easily get a internship at any well known PSU. In other branches also if you get in regular touch with TPO and faculty you'll easily find a good internship.
Placement Experience
Being a State level government engineering college MBM is doing excellent work. CS/IT have 100% placement, Electrical/Mechanical/EEE also give a decent number of placement. At last Mining is the boss in placements.Vedanta,TCS,JK CEMENT, SHREE CEMENT,NBC and Many many more companies visit every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee is very less. Your complete engineering fee is under 150000 and hostel fee are also 10k per year only. Hostel mess also charge just 40Rs per diet so overall everything here is very economical. Other than this too many scholarship are also available specially in mining branch so in financial perspective it's the best.
Campus Life
Life at Campus is very chill and joyful. You'll find here all kind of people which is very important for future life. Many techfest as well as fun fest are also organised regularly. In sports also MBM is doing well. If you play basketball or football then facilities are best. Teams of both of these games go regularly for different competitions.
Admission
No there isn't any GD or PI just score well in JEE and you're in. After scoring good marks in JEE main you need to fill the REAP form which is for Rajasthan state government colleges, here you'll find MBM ENGINEERING COLLEGE. At my time my JEE main score was 101/360
