Remarks

Good things for this college are natural beauty. Bad things for this college are no study environment, no qualify faculties, no proper lab and lab assistance, no other extra activities happen in campus. I choose this college because this is a National Institute. The number of faculties are very less. Some of faculties have good knowledge but most of the faculties have no basic knowledge. Term exams take two times in a semester( mid term exam and end term exam) in the month of September and December / March and May. Easy to pass these exam. I can say that this college is not for study. You can do every things in this college but you never do study here.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 742600 per year

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placements after 6th semester. Many companies visited in this college - 1. L&T, 2. LTI, 3. Accenture, 4.Capgemini, 5. TCS, 6. 314-e, 7. mini orange, 8. LTT. Highest package is 15 LPA and average package is 6 LPA. More than 50% students get placement. After degree I am planning higher studies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I already mention the normal fee which is 742600, but if you are belong from poor family ( below 1 lack) then college does not take tuition fee. If your family income between 1 to 5 lack then you will be pay 2/3rd of the tuition fee. There is no scholarship from the institute.

Campus Life

There is a cultural fest, that name is OUGRI, which is conducted one time in a year in spring semester. There is a technical fest, that name is TECH FEST, which is conducted one time in a year. There is no monthly fest. Very less amount of books are available in the library. For the sport there is one fest which name is Sport MEET after that there is nothing for extracurricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average and mostly theory-based. Core CS subjects are covered, but practical learning, updated content, and flexible electives are limited, so we students must rely on self-study. And the exams are also monthly so you have to work on your own to study.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is quite wonderful filled with up and downs. We have lot of theoretical knowledge with many difficult fruits in Maths and physics. This is good and bad at the same time which improve server by hurting skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The good side is the academics: CSE covers programming, operating systems, algorithms, AI, NLP, databases and related math, with regular curriculum updates in consultation with industry. ECE (including VLSI & Embedded Systems) includes communication systems, control, image processing, CMOS design, IoT, ML and AI, with strong emphasis on labs and projects. Recent placement data shows an overall placement rate around 80–85%, with CSE doing better than ECE, and a highest package near 40 LPA and average around 8–9 LPA for 2024, which is solid for a young IIIT. The transit campus at Mantripukhri still has essentials like Wi?Fi campus, library, labs, auditorium, hostels, faculty housing and playgrounds.

The worst iiit in entire india

We are juniors so we really dont know about the placements no faculty told how much average what is the highest placement and we himself didnt ask seniors about the placements also in website they mention it is 9 lacks average but we dont the reality inside

Imphal's fotress

Placement Experience:

I am a first year student so I have a limited knowledge about this , pehaps from 6th 7th semester you become eligible for placements , Deloitte and other companies , highest is 45 lakhs , median is around 13 to 14 lakhs. Percentage of students placement is low , I don't know the exact number. My plans after this I don'ts even know.

Curriculum and the teaching method is good but according to our education system it follws the old teaching style, teachers are good though. Here in the campus we have many restrictions thats not good at all.

About NIT MANIPUR

I have applied to many private collages like LPU, Paurul univerity , Saastra , vit , klu, vignan , DR. MGR, satyabhama like these many collages. And i got confirmed admission from NIT MANIPUR . By writing JEE mains i got good percentile and kept for councling and NTA has alloted this collage. As it is good collage i also accepted the seat . No i didn't get rejection letter from any institution .so nothing went wrong .
