Pros - Quality education, good placement activities, great support in technical and non technical co curricular activities, supportive faculty, good administration, scholorship oppertunities.Cons - Small campus and limited infrastructure, Comparitively a new college and university, high fees for out of state students (non local).
Course Curriculum Overview
The university provides quality education with the help of a very structured course. The prerequisites for electives are clear and mentioned well before hand and hence the electives can be chosen wisely. This helps obtain a specialisation if you choose to.Provides an oppertunity to complete a minor course in in any stream of engineering which helps adapt to requirements of an engineer in the current world.Faculties are very supportive. Respect them and they will respect you.

Placement Experience
There are good overall placements. But this largely depends on your course selection.For CS, the highest package : 28LPA. Average: 12 LPAFor ECE, the highest package : 13LPA. Average: 7 LPAFor EEE, the highest package : 13LPA. Average: 7 LPAFor Mech, the highest package : 10LPA. Average: 6 LPAPlacemets are quite less for Biotech and Civil Engineering.Placements start from the end of 6th semester.The college has multiple tie ups with universities abroad for persuing higher studies. The faculty are very supportive and provide help to secure a good university.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees was 1120000 INR for studends from outside Karnataka who get an admission through the PESSAT programme. For local students obtaining admission through KCET, the total fees was 360000. Students in the top 20% of the class in academics obtain various scholorships namely MRD, CMR etc every semester. Financial assistance is provided for technical projects, clubs and any other productive acitivities. M Tech students are provided campus jobs.

One of the best parts of PES University is its campus life. You are free to express yourself.
