Exploring BIT, mesra

I have chosen BIT Mesra over other colleges because it is one of the oldest and prestigious engineering college established in 1955, though i have score 98.5 percentile in jee main 2019, I have enrolled for Mechanical engineering due to my love for physics, and also this college have very good laboratories with delicate machines only available in few colleges in india also there are a lot of student clubs which gives the environment to students to upskill themselve and not stay restricted to their courses, students from different parts country come here so the exposure is also good.

Except few all faculty members are good and hardworking they motivates and help to set a vision and the course structure here is very much standard with 2 years optional which help in overall development, after 2017 the course structure changed to CBCS

I haven't opted for any internship yet as i am in my second year, Internship opportunities are provided by placement cell of our college in third year and regular updates are given through our college alumini portal

Placement is quite good here, CSE and IT has exceptionally good placement. Mean placement is 10.5 lpa and about 70% students get placed some opt for higher studies. Almost all good companies visit here for campus placement like facebook, apple, amazon, tata.

Fee is quite higher than NIT and increases every year as it is not fully government owned institute, G. P. Birla scholarship is given to students from different courses on the basis of merit every semester, here average package is 10.5 lakhs and CSE and IT has exceptional placement

Life here is good and independent as there are some rules which may sound usual and holding but who follow the rules, there are many clubs which organises their events in fest, bitotsav is boggest fest of our college, and vajra is sports fest, pantheon is techfest, and many more. Infrastructure include very beautiful academic building, R&D building hostels, guest house, sports comlex,cricket, football grounds, bascketball courts, very beautiful gym etc. Many technical and non technical clubs are there in college which provides opportunities to showcase and learn skills other than academics. Technical clubs are srijan for formula car making, firebolt for offroad racing car, aerospace society for UAVs, non technical or cultural - leo club, rotoract, literary soc
