Life of Pillai College Student

Pillai College has a good brand name in Navi Mumbai specifically, everyone here knows how good and reputed it is. Has a very great campus all in all. And talking about the faculty it is very great. All the teachers are full of knowledge plus point that they rae so supportive and encouraging that they'll push us in all the aspects if they see the a spirit or a talent in us. Apart from the curriculum, the fests are also creative. Alegria! One has got many opportunities in which he/she can excel. Pillai College gives us many such opportunities. I have surfed through the official website of the college for some precise details. Apart from that the admission process was pretty simple like filled an online form and an offline form simultaneously. Waited for selection. Turned up that I got selected via the 2nd list, so went there and paid the fees. Admission Done.

BAF specifically because I had an inclined interest towards accounting hence I chose BAF. I am not sure about the exact faculty teaching ratio hence, I would like to avoid that question but as far as the qualification of the teacher it is all Masterd, Ph.d so they all are well qualified and supporting. There are some extra curricular courses as well going on the whole year, if one is interested they can enrol for the same. The method is chalk and board method. But when needed AV is there for the aid. Every Semester would happen at the time it should there was no delay for exams and neither for results. In a term, after a very first month or so an internal used to be conducted of the first units and it was the scoring section then project again a scoring section the main exam of 60 marks were also easy, not so difficult that one cannot pass it. If the student is regular in class and paying attention to what teacher is teaching then passing was exam was like a cake walk.

I haven't opted for any sort of internship offered by my college hence I can't answer this question but one of my friend did and she told that it was an amazing experience. I was alredy working somewhere part-time hence I didnt join any internship offered by college.

There are huge placements happening here in Pillai. Many companied comes and they actually recruit many people. The companies include TATA, HDFC, ICICI, etc. From 6th Semesters students are eligible for the campus placements but if there are internships offering then they are eligible prior that as well.

For some reserved category students, the fee is refunded every year.like if the first year is iver by the end they would receive the refund of thee by the college. Then again in second year initially they need to pay then again they will get refund. Every year the fee was around Rs. 25000 to Rs. 26000 hence all in all approx. Rs.75000 was the fee for 3 years and there are pat payments facility also available so it us quite affordable.

The annual fest here is Alegria it is usually conducted in the month if February and last for 4-5 days. Then apart from this huge fest, we have Traditional Day, Rose Day, Christmas celebration every other thing happening around us. Some campaigns are also going on. We have our fashion team, dance teams which go out and win trophies and medals for our college. We have our college band. Musicians, singers. So there is a lot of room for talented people. Talking about the library, we have a dedicated library for PCACS Students. A huge library where there are tons of books from academics to entrance exams to novels. Academics has various variety of publishers. We have our football team as well.

No. There were lists out on the basis of 12th grade percentages scored. I had scored 86.46% in 12th grade and I was expecting that I will get selected in the first list itself but I was marked off by 0.50%. Later, I got selected in the second list.
