TIET is ranked among top private universities in India. I choose this university because of the North India atmosphere like the north food especially. While choosing the college I came to knew that it had a very good placement record and it was very well true.

The course is great for people who have interest in both electronics and computer field. Student ratio in this field with respect to other fields was less. During my time in 2016 it had a strength of 120. Many students choose this branch because somehow they couldn't get into the core branch of Computer engineering. The department of this branch will be Electronics and Communication Department but you will be taught all the important subjects of computer engineering too.

The last semester of the college is the project semester. U can either get an internship or complete any project in the college. Many companies that come for placements also provide 6 months internship.

The placements of the college is not that good as per the number of students. The number of students strength in each branch has increased a lot in the past few years and the college is still increasing it. Many big companies like Microsoft, DE SHAW, AMEX, JP Morgan, Amazon offering above 15 lacs package do visit the campus but the competition is very high as number of students is high. Various profiles are offered by the companies like Software Developer, Business Analyst, Data Scientist , etc.Many companies will be visiting the campus even after the placement session is over to hire the left out students. If still left unplaced in the campus placement then u can always try for off campus placements or do your Masters in that specific field.

Fees of this college is high and every semester it will keep increasing. The hostel and mess combined charges will be around 70K per semester. There are many scholarships offered to students. If u have a good 12th grade then you could easily get a scholarship from the start and continue with that if you could maintain the scholarship CG cut. Banks are there to provide you with loans. With a security you can easily avail loan of 10 Lacs from any bank.

The life at the campus is great. First year is full of new surprises with new friends and a lot of things to do. FROSH is the society that organizes the events for the new coming students and helps them during their admission process time. All the sports are available to play. There is very good athletic track in the campus in front of Hostel M. There are many societies to join according to your interest but you will have to clear the GD and interview rounds for being a part of the society. The worst part is the student strength, they do not have any big indoor auditorium to fully accommodate the specific year students. So for attending social and fun events you will have to register on their websites late night which is first come first serve.

Admission in the college is on the basis of your JEE Mains score or your 12th grades. There is no interview or GD for admission. There will be various rounds for the branch cutoff according to the marks of the student. After getting the specific branch you need to pay the admission fee and the semester fee. U can choose your hostel at the time of admission which happens in the Main Auditorium of the college. There is spot round cutoff at the last.Try your luck after getting admission in college to get your dream branch in the spot round.
