My Life at MNNIT, Allahabad

The college fee for my course is quite affordable as compared to other MBA colleges, placement cell is good and every students get placed either off-campus or on-campus. Moreover, the course curriculum is good and faculties are highly qualified and this made to opt for this program from MNNIT. The admission procedure of my college is too easy as completed my registration first then my CAT and marks in undergraduate were considered for the short listing process. Further, when I got shortlisted, I appeared for GD and PI rounds. And finally I got admission in this college.

The course curriculum focuses on developing the personality and other skills along with the theoretical and practical knowledge. In this process, our faculties plays an important role in guiding and teaching us. Not only, they take classroom lectures but also they try to provide hands-on experience so that we can easily work in any environment in the corporate houses. And yes, passing the semester exams in our college is totally trouble-fee as whatever we are taught in the classroom is enough and apart from that, we get study material as well according to the syllabus.

Last year, almost 70% seniors got placed on campus while others went for off-campus placement. The top hiring companies that visited our campus were Accenture, Cognizant, IBM, Flipkart, Amazon, Infosys, HCL technologies and too many others. Further, the highest CTC reached in our department was 10 LPA and the average Package was 6 lakh per annum.

The fee structure for MBA program in my college is 4.8 lakh for two years excluding hostel and mess charges. Also, my college has scholarship provision for those who are financially weak. However, the scholarship is provided by Uttar Pradesh Government, a few companies, other states government and for other courses there are other schemes for scholarship.

For our well being, our college conducts several activities like Aviskar, Culrav, personality development classes, yoga classes, Gnodomaia, and sports activities like J.Lal, Josh and annual athletic meet. Due to all these activities which are organized throughout the year, helps a lot in all round personality growth. Also, the life at on campus hostel is amazing, we get so many facilities here and so, our campus life is too dynamic.

Yes, to get admission in MNNIT, I faced both Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds. In Personal Interview round, too easy questions were interrogated. However, in the Group Discussion round, we were given a topic which was 'Demonetization'' and and time duration of 20 minutes were given. Meanwhile, our leadership skills, and knowledge about the particular topic were checked.
