Remarks

I always wanted to study in a beautiful place like Solan. So right after completing my high school I directly applied for this college. I paid 1200 rs for the application fee which was to be submitted online or in the office along with my 10+2 documents.

Course Curriculum Overview

I come from a commerce background which is why I took up bcom as my course. The ratio is about 1:12 and the faculty comprises of assistant professors and phd holders with a working experience of 10 years. We have semester based exams and it is not that difficult to pass as we have internals which helps us prepare well.

Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Placement Experience

The college does has a placement cell which helps us to get good jobs right after graduating. The top recruiting companies are ICIC bank, HDFC and Bandhan bank. Other companies like amazon, wipro, and cognizant too visit the campus , with the highest package being upto 15 lakhs pa.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is affordable and we had to pay at the beginning of every semester. however there isn't any on campus jobs available but there are scholarships available. The criteria for it comes under need based and merit based. It gives from 10% to 100% scholarship.

Campus Life

We celebrated the local cultural events of himachal in our college. We also had alumni meets including teachers day celebration. The college has indoor games like badminton. it also has snooker tables including a nice basketball court and a sporting field for athletics and football as well.

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

I chose this course because I liked horticulture .This course is very well applied in real world in cultivation and growing of vegetables, fruits and flowers and horticulture also has job opportunities in private sector. There are some improvements like more practical learning, real world exposure etc. that could be made to make this course more effecgive in real world application. Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

I think in the matter of the view it, it is far better than the universities, they have really good view and the society is quite clean. The nature of the outside of the university is very nice. Very greenery around the university, but there is a issue in the green tree that there are so many wild animals around mountains. Shoolini University - The Best Collage in hills you can get in INDIA
