A look at my college

It has very big campus . the teaching staff in college is highly qualified and very experienced.the washrooms in the college are very clean and sanitizer is present outside every bathroom.the Cleaning in college is done daily.uniform and identity is compulsory for entering in college.rules and regulations are very strict in the college. I admitted to this college through cap round by appearing for gate exam.firstly admission is to be confirmed by online mode.Then for further process of document verification one must have to come to college with required original documents with their copies.after documentation fee has to be paid for confirming admission. As this is old goverment college with experienced staff and all facilities and also it is near to my hometown I prefer this college.as my home is at 18 km from college I know about this college throuhly.Office stuff also in this college are very supportive as they solve any problem immediately .also library is available to student for 24 hours with many books and references.College organizes many events and programme which is helpful for students to increase their knowledge and skill .also college have big ground,so various game can be played thereby increasing energy of student.different sport tournaments also arranged for students to motive them.Many of friends and seniors was pass out from this college so I got help from them to choose these college.College also arranges site visits to get practical knowledge to students about what they actually are studying.also arranges program mad on the occasions like female day,science day to aware the students about its importance.

I have interest in construction related work so I had chosen this steam.nearly all faculty have completed their PhD so they are very experienced also they had work for many companies.Teaching method is also excellent as they ask questions to any Student in live class so it is two way conversation and students are free to ask their doubt.As there is corona pandemic the exam is taken on online basis.Exam are taken as per schedule in time table.difficulty level of question paper is moderate.

As I am in first year of mtec I have not done any internship till now.But I had visited Last moth a soil dam neAr chiplun Which was in its primary stage only.we had visited with our college staff and perform plate load test for checking stability of soil. Also we have visited to bridge in Karad which is constructed on koyana river.we had see activity of post tensioning in cables,piling,formwork for bridges.

Currently due to corona pandemic palcement become less.but they are calling various companies for placement.And also they help us in referring company for providing us job.As I had admitted for mtec,in 2nd year I am doing internship in any construction company.also I am studying for mPsc exam

You must qualified to get stipend as par aicte.also sc st candidates having income less than 2.5 lakh can apply for scholarship.A candidate have applied for scholarship Should have cast certificate and cast validity and income proof.Who are applicable for stipend must give score card of particular exam which they have qualified.

College campus is very big and attractive.there are many fest's and events are organized by college namely Aavishkar,Xplore,technical talks etc.Books and references are available in college of each stream.one can issue 5 books at a time by taking library card.Also Internet facility with reading room available facility in library.Sport fest are also conducted for student which includes sports like cricket,kho kho ,kabbadi etc.Also college arranges a blood donation camp.gcekalumni is website ruN by students And staff.

As admission is got through cap round for which appearing for gate exam was compulsory. The admission is given on the basis of marks scored by students in gate exam .After that if you have selected through cap round then there is no need to give any test or interview for admission in college.
