I chose this college for my BTech because PSE is second most preferred destination next to IIMB. With 6th rank in Top Private College, PSE is located the Silicon Valley of India, i.e. Bangalore. Also, it offers quality education as well as practical exposure to the industry through well-trained teachers. My admission to the college was done after getting shortlisted for the CAT scores and then clearing the Personal Interview round. But first, I had to apply for it online through the official website of the institute for which I had to pay an amount of INR 1050.
Course Curriculum Overview
Through the curriculum, I was able to built specialist knowledge in the field of applied computer sciences with the flexibility to follow my interest through the choice of varied optional modules, courses and electives. Faculty involvement at my institute goes far beyond academics and influences every aspect of campus life. In addition to their teaching duties, faculty members guide and mentor us, participating with enthusiasm in their academic, research and sports/cultural pursuits.
Placement Experience
The placements of my institute are the best and it was one of the reasons why I joined this institute in the first place. Numerous IT companies visit our campus to hire us for jobs offering stipends of up to 46 LPA. Some of the top recruiters that visited our campus include Amazon, Cisco, Mahindra Rise, Clear trip, TESCO, LinkedIn, Flipkart, JP Morgan, Microsoft, Honeywell, Bosch, ITC, Nestle, HP, Oracle, Amazon, Deloitte, Genpact, Morgan Stanley, HDFC Bank, EY, Accor Hotels, Cruise Companies. etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
To study my BTech program at PES University, I had to pay INR 340000 per year, which means, my whole course cost me a total of INR 13,60,000. The cost is pretty expensive but the ROI is great after the completion of the degree program. However, there are various other financial assistance and scholarships offered by the institute which are either industry-sponsored or government-funded which can availed based on academic merit and eligibility.
Campus Life
Apart from my amazing campus life here, I got to live in a beautiful campus with a infrastructure so great that it so huge and included facilities like, a hostel, Library, sports complex, fully-equipped classrooms, auditorium, etc. Also, there are a lot of clubs and events here, majority of them called and invited us during freshmen year. There are certain rules and regulations like dress code that we had to follow inside the campus.
Admission
The admissions process included a personal interview round after being shortlist on the basis of my marks. During the interview, the interviewer asked me evaluated me on the basis of my my past Academic Scores, general affair, communication skills, personality, etc. All these aspects played major role in my Selection.
