Remarks
As per the admission criteria in GGSIPU in 2016,the university conducts a CET(Common eligibility Test) .The results are announced1n 0 days of giving the exam.The ranks of CET are given according to the marks obtained.The colleges are alloted as per the ranks.I attained 30k rank in CET ,so I wasn't slotted any college in the 1st,2nd or 3rd round of the counselling .The final round was spot counselling which is held in main campus of GGSIPU.You need to submit a draft of 71000 in the main campus and the seats left will be alloted to you as per your rank .
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum- When you enter the college for the first time you will definitely feel overburdened.6 Theory subjects and 5 practical subjects would be difficult to cope up with.The university syllabus needs to be more practical than theory based .Academics and Faculty-The college is strict in Academics and you will learn the discipline here.The teachers are PHds and provide good guidance individually.Efforts are put on project based learning .A technical fest is organized every 6 months to showcase your talent.The college promotes highly effective presentation skills and over the years ,your fear disappears
Internships Opportunities
No there are no internship opportunities available with the college.Although the college provides trainings in respective fields by companies in 3rd year .The technical fests and 1 week programs on different technologies are held every 3 months .Extra money is charged fir the industrial programs but the fee is always nominal and it is worth spending
Placement Experience
Semester 7 students are eligible for campus placemenets.Generally the placements are off campus with some big companies like wipro and TCS.Some small IT companies visit the college whole year round and college does make an effort for the placement .The highest package in my year was 12 LPA for the role of business development associate for Karo Education and the lowest package was 3.5 Lpa which was by some IT company
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure -Fees is less as compared to other GGSIPU BTECH colleges but it seems almost same when transportation is included in the fees.College provides scholarship every year on basis of merit.The form releases in the month of February.There is a cut throat competition in the college so attaining scholarship is a bit difficult .Campus placements are done every year but very few companies visit the campus for electronics and mechanical.Main focus is given on IT jobs
Campus Life
The infrastructure of college is poor.There is no campus life as the college is very strict in its rules and regulations.All you can see outside the college are fields.The location is at countryside so if you don't have your own transport,reaching here is difficult.College provides its own bus facilities so that was a saviour But there is no place to hang out nearby.Just two small shops which serves snacks.
Admission
As I discussed before a CET is taken before slotting ranks.Now the admissions are done on the basis of JEE ranks but back then CET ranks were given.The rank was the entire basis of admission and 60% marks in class 12th should be attained.
