Remarks

Refered by school seniors, the college have great faculty with giving individual attention. Teachers have coped up and came out with different methods to teach during the lockdown and online classes. Another feature I like is we got a society known as Legal Services Society where every student is a member and trips are planned every week in underprivileged areas for legal awareness among the people(pre-covid scene). good results in judicial services exam and litigation. The college also have moot court society where every student gains experience of workings of a live courts. The society sends participants to different competitions.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I like studying law. Always been interested to know laws which governs the society. Faculty:student ratio is 1:60. All the teachers holds LLM degree with many pursuing PhD. Seniors teachers are all PhD holders. Term exams are 6 months apart and completes on time. Not easy to pass, not difficult to pass. If a student attends regular classes then he can pass easily.

Placement Experience

5

Campus placements aren't very much talked about here. Most students prepare for judicial services or go for litigation. The course is a professional one and hence employability is very high post completion of the degree.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Total fee is around Rs. 20000 with each year costing around Rs. 7000. Every semester course material is provided by the college which is included in fees. The college doesn't have any scholarships but state provides scholarship to students. I am still a student but the internship and placement cell is very active and students beg good packages.

Campus Life

5

Mirath is the annual Fest. The college celebrated its golden jubilee in 2019-2020. Fest is conducted in Feb-march. The library have all the course related books with regular daily and weekly newspapers and magazines. Magzines include time, the week etc. Sports and extracurricular activities are conducted regularly with eminent personalities and judges visiting the college for interactive sessions. Other societies in college include Gender sensetisation society. NSS is also present with conducting events on regular basis. Website is www.lC1.du.ac.in

Admission

Entrance exam is conducted. The course for it includes basic English, quantitative aptitude, general knowledge which includes history, polity majorly. Another important portion of the test is basic legal knowledge with current events.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.
