Premier Institution with an affordable fees

An entrance exam was conducted comprising of 100 questions with a time limit of 2 hours. After some days according to the cutoff marks candidates were called for the GD&PI session. After the GD&PI session, the result was made out. Due to covid 19 pandemic, all the counseling and admission process was done online and everything was done in accordance to the government's guidelines.

Term exams were good, we're able to pass as the test papers were made on the basis of practical knowledge not just theoretical knowledge. Innovative case studies and questions were there in examination in order to check the analytical abilities of the students.

Internships were provided, with some companies, but if you want to intern in some good organization, you have to be self-dependent. Stipend provided ranges high as 25k per month to just 3k per month depending on the organization.

Placement is good but not enough. Various companies come for placements but not everyone is placed. At an average of 40 %, students are placed sometimes high as 60%. Recruiting companies are Max Bupa, SBI Life Insurance, XL Dynamics, ICICI Bank, Genpact, etc.

Fees are very affordable according to me. Around 19000 for a year for an MBA from a premier central University like Aligarh Muslim University is something no one can dream of. These fees also comprise hostel fees which are 3650. There were a number of scholarships, a lot of alumni sponsors study of various students.

If you want to involve yourself in Co-curricular activities, believe me, AMU is the best place to flourish. Eco Club, Film Club, Drama Club, Various music clubs, Debating club, and a lot of clubs are active with students actively participating in activities. Social groups are also formed by various groups in order to bring a social, educational, and cultural change in the university environment.

Hostels are good and clean. The whole campus has WiFi connectivity which makes it better. Few new hostels are under construction. Food is good, both veg and nonveg items are available. After the admission process, hostel forms are filled and they are very cost-friendly. 3650 for hostel and 1200 for Dining charges. I don't think there can be something cheaper than this.

I faced both GD and PI. A group of 8 students was in GD with the topic of "Opinion Polls should be banned". In an interview there were questions about your educational background, will for MBA, life, and hobbies.
