A college with many opportunities.

I applied for two colleges that is Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College. I didn't attend ARSD college because my friends were not there. DU releases the cutoff marks of every college and provides three days to take admission for that particular cutoff. In this way, 3-10 cutoff marks lists are released. The admission process is totally smooth. On the day of counselling, you have to submit your documents in the office and after 3-4 hours your admission process will be completed.

My course curriculum is as expected. The syllabus of every course of every college in the whole Delhi University is the unique one and a perfect syllabus at this level of study. Faculty members are well qualified and the teaching method is wonderful. Term exams are always as per the schedule. All exams difficulty level is medium.

Students in the college are free of any internship opportunities of any company. Placement cell also provides some internship opportunity by collaborating with other companies. These may be unpaid or paid.

From 5th semester students are eligible for campus placement. Some tech companies come every year to provide placement. The highest package can be 10 lakhs which will be provided by these companies. Only commerce and business stream's students are allowed for these placements.

The course fee per year is 18750. Since the college is totally funded by the Government of Delhi so its fees structure is also managed by the Government. The total cost for a person from outside Delhi is a max of 4 Lacs for his/her whole course of 3 years. There are various central and state governments scholarship to which you can apply. INSPIRE scholarship is there, which provide assistance of 1.8 Lacs in 3 years and if opt for masters then 1.2 LPA will also given to you. This scholarship is for science background students only.

The annual fest of DDUC is KALRAV, which is conducted in the month of March-April. In this fest, you will see the overwhelming participation of students from various colleges. We have also a departmental fest which held annually. In the mathematics department, we have MATHRIX, which include various functions and events which revolve around Maths. Other departments have also their annual departmental fest. The library in DDUC is very large. You can find any book or journal in this library. 3 floors of the building have a library. Classrooms are well furnished and air conditioned. Room heaters are also there. From sports like cricket, football, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, basketball to other extracurricular activities like dancing, singing, dramas, debates and other social activities we have the societies for all these activities. Anyone can join these societies and improve their skills. Societies are Vakyarth, Harish Chandra mathematics society, Kalamkaar, NSS etc.
