Internships-[NIT Agarpara]

The college has an easy admission process. We need to apply through WBJEE and after getting the results counseling sessions are done and you get options between various colleges of West Bengal. If you go for direct admission it can be that you don't get your desired branch but you can change it after 1st year. You should at least give jee mains or WBJEE to qualify for admission.

Being from an EIE department you can choose both software or the core industry at the end of your graduation. The faculties are very helpful in shaping your career, providing you with needs, helping you in difficulties, and most importantly they provide constant back support throughout your journey.

You need to struggle to get internships. You need to search for it on your own and apply. If the college finds any openings they let you know about it if you match the criteria. We need to perform various tasks and need to complete projects.

After the 6th sem, you are eligible for campus placements, according to the eligibility criteria of the company you get mails and details for application. Many good companies visit campus for placements, as they have a good link up with companies.

No scholarship facility is available, there's an increase of Rs.500 every semester. If you study hard and get the appropriate knowledge needed for a job you can easily get campus placements and sometimes it depends a lot on luck too.

Annual and tech fest are generally conducted in the month of February or March. Generally, all the books required throughout your curriculum are available in the library, and don't need to buy semester books we get that from library/sem and its charges are included in admission fees.

The rooms can have 2,3 or 4 beds. According to the availability, you will get one. They are well furnished and have a separate bed chair table and cupboard for every member in the room. The food is good. We got a campus hostel as there were vacant beds.
