Remarks
I was admitted based on my CEE-AMPAI 2017 score. It was very nice. I was admitted as general. The admission process was like Avail rank in JEE mains or WBJEE Age between : 18-21 for b.tech. It was a very nice experience for me to take admission there.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was very good on basis of academic research as well as for industrial purposes. They were very helpful in the 4 years of the course. They used to encourage us always in our ups and downs. Our H.O.D Mrs. Bandari Deb Majumdar, as well as all other faculties Ms.Sushmita Das, Dr.Dibyendu Sur had helped us in our project work. We have done a lot of paperwork with their help.
Internships Opportunities
College gives us many internship opportunities. I had got an internship with D.R.D.O but unfortunately in the covid situation, it was fully in online mode, and thus they did not give us a stipend for that. But, some students were there for almost 4 months They got a stipend.
Placement Experience
Generally, in our college when we are in our final years, we are eligible for the campus process. There are a lot of companies that come for recruitment -TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, Accenture, Byjus, and many more. Many students have got multiple offers. The highest package offered this year is 10 L.P.A by Byjus for the role of Business Development Associate. This year, due to the covid situation, 35-40% of people got placement. But, unfortunately, I am still waiting to get placed. So, my plan after getting the degree is to get myself prepared for government jobs. (WBCS,UPSC, etc)
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fees of 4 years b.tech were near about 4 lakhs. The college has given us many internship opportunities. I have done an internship with D.R.D.O. They have given us many job opportunities starting from 3 lakhs per annum to 10 lakhs per annum. Many multinational companies are coming here.
Campus Life
The tech fest name is 'Kritanj' and there's also a cultural fest. Both the fests happen in January-February. There are two theater groups 'Sparsh' and 'S6' in our college, they help many people as well with college faculties.
