ALL ABOUT MY COLLEGE-NARULA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

After getting my JEE and WBJEE exam results, I had applied to many well-known colleges but I had not taken admission there as the colleges were too far for me to travel and on the other hand, the course fees were also high as compared to my present college NARULA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY. Here, I had not availed any quota for taking admission in this college. For taking admission to this college I had to fulfill the basic criteria that were the marks. I had to show my board exam mark sheets there and had asked me to show that whether I had 60% marks in both my board exams or not. They had also asked me to show the ranks of my JEE and WBJEE exams.

Since childhood, I always had an eagerness to know about the instruments that we use in our day-to-day life. I always use to ask that how a particular instrument is working and why a particular instrument is used for a particular task. So as soon as I got the opportunity to know all these and can go further with these as my career option, without thinking much and without any hesitation I had chosen this course. The HOD Ma'am, as well as all other faculties of our stream, are really very kind and helpful. They had always guided me on the right track and had always supported me. They had always treated me just like the way a parent would treat their child. They had always helped me not only in my studies but had also supported me in my co-curricular activities. They had always treated all the 55 students equally and with equal love and care. They had always been friendly to us while teaching. They had always followed the interactive process so that we don't feel bored and inactive while an ongoing class.

I did my internship through INTERNSHALA and from DRDO as well. In both the internships, I was offered some tasks and projects which I had to fulfill in order to get my certificates. During this period I got to know many new things and interacted with many new people and had faced many situations among which some were good and a few were bad.

From the beginning of the 4th year only, students start facing their campus placement exams. Many well-known companies have arrived in this campus placement drive like ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, CAPGEMINI, TOUJOURS PERITUS CONSULTANCY PRIVATE LTD, TCS, and many more. They have given each and every student the opportunity to sit for the exam obviously those candidates who were able to fulfill their requirements, got selected.

The fee structure is quite affordable for every student. It took me approximately 4 lakhs to do this course during this 4 years term. From this college, I got a job in a core company named TOUJOURS PERITUS CONSULTANCY PRIVATE LTD. From this company, I have been offered a package of 3.5 LPA. During my training period, I will receive my stipped and 50% of my salary. So I feel lucky and blessed to be a part of this college.

Every year there are two fests organized by our college-namely KRITANJ and NAVODAYA. KRITANJ is the tech fest organized in the month of March while NAVODAYA is the cultural fest organized in the month of August or September. In our library, all the books are available. We can anytime just collect or issue any kind of books that we want to study. The surroundings of each and every classroom are very much suitable to take a class. They have proper desks and chairs for each and everyone and the labs are also quite well maintained. We also have SPORTS organized by our college. Different sports events are there and everyone is allowed to participate in them. We also have drama groups, dance groups, and many such groups related to extracurricular activities, and some of these groups are carried hence-forth by some students as well.
