Remarks
I've also applied to Marwari College, but Xavier's was my first preference so I went there. For getting admission we have to qualify for the entrance test, the cutoff goes to 50% in all the subjects especially in the honours paper.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I wanted to become a CA. The qualification of most of the faculty is M.Com and PhD. We have to give 1 mid-sem and 1 end sem in each semester. In total, we have 6 semesters. It is a course of 3 years.
Placement Experience
From sem 6 placements are offered. Companies visited are TCS, Vedanta, Kotak Bank, south Indian bank, etc. The highest package offered was around 50,000 per month. The current salary of recent graduates is generally lower than the current salary of students who graduated in previous batches.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the B.Com program is INR 32,150 PA. The Bachelor of Commerce degree is designed to provide students with a wide range of managerial skills while building competence in a particular area of business. Most universities, therefore, plan the degree such that in addition to their major, students are exposed to general business principles, taking courses in accounting, finance, economics, actuarial studies, business management, human resources and marketing; some programs also require business statistics and -calculus, and information systems.
Campus Life
Xavier Utsav is the fest that is held annually. January is the season of college festivals. Taking the lead in this, St Xavier's College, Ranchi, has already booked its date with fun, fine arts and culture. The library is a great place to study in college. Books are also available.
Hostel Facilities
I live in a nearby hotel. The room has two beds, cupboards, study table, it also provides a washing machine, gyeser, water purifier. Meal quality is good between May to September when new girls come and after that it becomes horrible. In the menu, it has both the option of veg or non-veg. Its registration is quite simple you only need an Aadhar card with some non-refundable amount or they call it security money I have to give them 3000 as security money.
