Remarks
College is good in terms of facilities you will see good equipment in the laboratory which is very important in engineering. Faculties are also good and supportive. You can get admission through rankings of joint entrance and HS marks, the cut is dependent upon the year of passing. In my jee rank I got this as the best college from all the other options. The campus is quite good, I have visited it before the final admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview
Electronics is one of the trending specializations in engineering where you learn about coding and core subjects simultaneously. There is a 5:1 student-faculty ratio during my time in the department. All the teachers have done minimum M.Tech and some are doing Ph.D and some of them are already completed. The internals takes place from time to time with WBUT exams. If you regularly attend classes it won't be a difficult task to pass.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, the placement started happening and it was dependent on the company for what they're actually looking for. Most companies from the IT sector come, few of the core sectors did come to participate. The most common eligibility criteria was 6.5 CGPA and 55% in higher secondary. Most of the students got placement and there the good thing was if a student got a job offer then he/she can't sit for any drive.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee guidelines are given by the state government. So, the institution followed the same. There were not many other major expenses from the college. Many companies came at that time. Most of the students were recruited by TCS. I got placed in TCSion as an operating executive.
Campus Life
They hold freshers every year. And the tech fest and cultural fest have different names every year, it's dependent on the batch and the committee. The institution has a library from where all students get their books and the quantity of books is sufficient. The classroom is quite good some of the classrooms have projectors as well. The campus has 11 side football playgrounds after classes everyone can join in on this.
