Lateral entry later age

I have visited many colleges before admission to see the facilities and get details for fees. Finally, I decided to put in Hindusthan Institute of Technology. I've not availed of any quota or counseling. Because I'm looking for a lateral entry seat and I have around 80% marks on my hand. Of ofcourse I will not get through counseling to this college. The admission process was very simple and done with minimal time. During admission, my age was 24 but no issue with that. Minimum marks that time is 60%. We are the first batch of the Hindusthan Institute of Technology. So easily we got admission.

I'm very much interested in Aeronautical Engineering. So I selected this course to enhance and enrich my knowledge in this field. In the initial period, we have struggled with the right faculty members. Then we got it. Dose matter which stream the faculty has, it matters how much he delivers and how he delivers. HIT people will know about professor Mr.Kalidas. he is the gold medalist in academics. He selected teaching for his passion. We went to IIT Kanpur for Flight training, organized by the college. For curiosity, we requested and attended one of their regular class in-flight dynamics. Then I realized professor Kalidas used a superb methodology of teaching tough subjects like SOM & FEA. Another professor called Mr.M.S.Prabhu. he will deliver and write all notes on board with respect to the topic he teaches. You no need to refer to and textbook for his subject. Realy Aeronautical in Hindusthan institute has blessed because of this kind of professor. That time internal 50 marks (5 unit test & 5 assignment) external 50 marks.

In 2009 we went IIT Kanpur for flight training. It is a payable course but it provided beautiful insights and knowledge to the Aeronautical Engineers. We have used their lab facilities fully and did some experiments. Met the legend Mr.Radhakrishnan Author of Fluid Dynamics and Computational fluid dynamics books. Used their portal and downloaded journals for further use.

In 2011, One core company for aeronautical visited our campus. It is hydrated. They took 3 people from our batch with a CTC of 3L. And some other department core companies visited. Some IT companies visited our campus. That time i have a different plan so i went that way. Now I'm working as a Senior Engineer - FEA in the core field.

The fee structure is around 50,000 rupees, around 30,000 for a hostel, and other exam fees. I'm not clear with the exact around. Nominal fees in that time. closely some other college. Management not much compulsion for paying date. The college has supported me in getting an education by giving me all the necessary documents. I've not used any scholarship. Still, management can give rewards for poor family peoples who scoring high.

Through Hindusthan Institute of Technology, annual day and sports day will be celebrated every year as same as other colleges. But in Hindusthan Arts and science will celebrate Hilaricus in every FEB 14. it is all Hinsthan group institutions. It is an extraordinary function with celebrities. Availability of Books & Journals is normal in that time. But the librarian will give you full support to use the library at any time. Really there are good. Space/land for Hinsthan will be equal to one village. During our period is the development stage of buildings and other things. Recently i visited it is looking very good. Impressive. Sports and extracurricular activities and just normal.

From 2008 to 2010 I stayed in hostal. It is a typical hostel and typical hostel food. Recently they build a new hostel and provided. I dont know about current happenings. The registration process for the hostel is simple. Last year (2011) I stayed outside just nearby to the college.
