Remarks
Firstly one has to apply through the college website. If shortlisted (based on marks obtained in the entrance exam) you will be called for GDPI. Provisional lists are then published and based on the number of seats one is invited to take admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is excellent. Faculty members are very helpful in these tough times. I am sure one can have a brilliant time in MESRA. In the scourge of covid, none of our term exams were affected. Everything went very smoothly.
Internships Opportunities
Internships in the virtual era are not that effective. Still, we are working on different projects for our knowledge. The industry environment is missing. But college has no role to play here as Covid is very unexpected.
Placement Experience
Birla itself is a huge brand and you can be sure of your placement if you are a quite good student. Yes, companies visit us. For the internships, the whole batch of 120 students is placed now. Expecting the same for FTEs.
Fees and Financial Aid
For the year 2020-22 the entire fee was 628000 (except mess charge). Yes, we do get the GP Birla scholarship based on the scores we obtain. Also this time Mesra provided financial assistantship to those who had tough times due to Covid.
Campus Life
There is no count on the number of clubs and societies run by students. And these engagements really help one to be a leader and work in corporate life overcoming all the huddles. Basically, for MBA we have around 5-7 clubs.
Hostel Facilities
Due to covid never went to the campus but heard that rooms are quite okay. One can feel comfortable despite all hurdles.
Interview Experience
There was no WAT this time due to things were online. We had GD followed by PI. The college has certain reservations as usual. But it is not a difficult task to get admission in Mesra with a decent score.
