The process was very smooth. It was online. after you get the offer letter you have to submit 50k for confirming your seat and then the institute will give you well enough time to submit all the necessary documents and the rest of the fees for term 1 and the team onsite was helping every student at every point. IIM Kashipur is under CAP so WAT and PI were conducted together for 9 IIMs.

I chose this course as it is the core MBA and I always wanted to do an MBA so there was never doubt about the course. Talking about the faculty students ratio that is pretty good I will say. There are approx 7-8 students per faculty. Most of them are doctorate from a prestigious institute. Institute conducts trimester-wise exams and there are mid-terms also in the middle. Exams are mostly case-based so you have to be careful about the application of whatever you have learned in your class plus your understanding. Overall term marks are broken into different components like a project, CP, Quiz. So it's like you have to maintain consistency in order to score good.

Some of the companies like ICICI, Tata steel, Tata capital, Deloitte, Puma, ONGC, Ultratech, of business, etc visit the campus. Roles offered to depend from company to company. Most of them are for marketing and finance.

At the end of first-year students have to do a 2 months Internship. SIP starts from the end of 1st term and till the start of 3rd term. Some of the companies which visit for SIP are ICICI, Deloitte, Puma, TATA Captial, TATA steel, etc. Finals placement starts from the beginning of the 4th term. 100% of students get placed in both SIP and finals

We all know IIMs are expensive because of the value they provide. So total fees of IIM Kashipur for MBA is 15 lacs for two years inclusive of hostels. But there are several financial assistance provided by colleges and the government to the students. Any IIM students can easily get an education loan from any bank at a very low interest rate without any collateral. Institute has an SBI branch inside the campus which the process very easy and less time-consuming. Then there are merit-based scholarships, merit cum need-based scholarships provided by the institute. Other than this student from SC, ST can get a scholarship from the government in which the institute provides support to avail the facility.

Social life at Campus is awesome. it's an experience. You get to learn so much from your peers coming from different backgrounds and having different experiences. Institute is totally run by the student There are lots of events organized in the institute. The flagship cultural event is Agnitraya where thousands of students from different colleges come, then there is DJ night, etc. We have 32 committees, clubs, and cells in total. So you can imagine the number of events happening in a year. We have section wars in which sports, cultural, and management competitions are organized. Then we sport league between senior and juniors. IIM Kashipur has its own IPL known as KPL. We have a sports competition in which IIM sirmaur and IIM Rohtak participate. The classrooms designed in a discussion-oriented classroom style.

In-room you will get a bed, a cupboard, a study table, a chair. Then the facilities which are provided to you are washing machine, fridge, water purifier, microwave, etc. The mess is superb. Mess is a nonprofit run by students for the students so obviously they took care of the hygiene and taste of the food. You will get very healthy and options in your foods. The hostel is mandatory as it is a residential program

Yes, there was WAT and PI which is conducted under CAP. For WAT i.e. written ability to test in which they give you a topic and you have to write about it in 20 mins and submit the paper. The topic of WAT can be related to anything. It can be abstract, related to politics or current affairs, the environment, or anything. My topic was digitalization in industrialization. And for PI they can ask you anything. They asked me about the history of my place, 6 presidents of India, some questions related to my background and of course why do you want to do an MBA.
