Remarks

I applied for Rajiv Academy For Technology And Management but didn't join because when I compared, the placement of GLA was too good. So, I chose it. Eligibility criteria: passed 10+12 with a minimum of 50% score in any stream no age limit The admission process is so simple here: just go to the main office, take the registration form, fill it. if you are eligible, you will be asked for GLAET ( GLA Entrance Test). It is an online test, conducted in a lab in GLA itself and consists of MCQs based on your recent study (till 12th) and the level of questions is normal. if you performed well in GLAET you will be able to attend this course. just submit fees ( yearly or half-yearly) The first day of mine was a counseling day... professors came and assisted us for our bright future...and gave guidance. That was a wonderful experience.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose this course because I loved Mathematics and Computer Science and wanted to be a software developer...to fulfill my dreams I was required to choose BCA. The faculty and heads there are so supportive and kind, but even strict when you do something wrong.... overall what a teacher should. The students are free to ask doubts and understand well. All the faculty members there are so experienced and some of them are Ph.D. passed. The method of teaching is quite simple and attractive. They conducted three exams in a semester ( 6 months) and the difficulty level was normal. It constitutes easy, medium as well as difficult...Not so difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I do not have much knowledge about this yet. I would like to research more about this....and will add further. I just know that yes there are so many internship opportunities available within our university. It even has collaborated with Udemy, Coursera to provide their students free courses during the lockdown period.

Placement Experience

4.5

As our course is of 3 years...so companies start coming from 4th semester itself. We became eligible for placements from the 4th semester only. And can continue till 6th. There comes Wipro, Amazon, Infosys, Microsoft, TCS, Capgemini, and many more About 80% and above is the guaranteed placement. but if you study well everyone one of you can be placed. I will be getting a job in a good MNC to achieve my goals.

Fees and Financial Aid

Well, overall fees for BCA in this university are 87,000 for 1st year, ?89,000 for 2nd year, and 91,000 for 3rd year. They even provide us the facility to pay our fees in parts. Means we can pay it semester wise..but it will be increased this way...?45,000 per sem for 1st year They even provide us scholarships. This university is mostly known for its placement, it offers 99.9% placement. Here come many companies for placement from big to small like Amazon, Wipro, etc

Campus Life

5

It has so many clubs each associated with a type...like Drishti club for photography, BCA Ocrates for coding, A4 Alto for coding...and many more Each of these clubs organized so many fests, events to encourage students for studying as well as extracurricular activities. No certain moths are decided for so. We have big size rooms for our classes and a tut room (small size rooms) for tutorials or any discussion. We have air-conditioning facilities in all the classrooms and libraries. We can play any type of game and sports ..like volleyball, basketball, cricket...we have so big grounds for each one of them.

Other Applied Colleges

Rajiv Academy For Technology And Management | BCA

It's placement is not as good as GLA, and it was far from my home.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT) are decent but not exceptional. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visit the campus, along with some startups, and offer roles mainly in IT support, development, and trainee positions. The highest package offered is around 8–10 LPA, while the average package ranges between 4–5 LPA, and the lowest is around 2–3 LPA. Approximately 60–70% of students get placed, while others either go for higher studies or off-campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

Placement Experience:

Around 70–80% of students from the course get placed through campus recruitment drives every year. The average package ranges between 3–5 LPA, while the highest package can go up to 8–10 LPA depending on skills and performance. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, and other reputed firms. A good number of students also secure internships in companies related to their field, which helps in gaining practical exposure and industry experience. The common roles offered include software developer, data analyst, trainee engineer, and support roles, providing a solid start to students’ careers.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

All Faculties are good and everyone has a lot of experience in their work also support students. Faculty qualification is best and their way of teaching and explaining is also good. Mid-term exams are very good and they are also very tough.
