Remarks

Gradually I filled the DU admission form where I got a chance to get enrolled in all the colleges under DU. After the first cut-off, I got myself enrolled in Satyawati College, eve. Then after the 2nd cut-off, I got myself enrolled in Satyawati Day and I'm continuing there. No, I'm from the general category. But I see many people from sort of disabled categories which is indeed a thing to be proud of. The care they receive in my college is sometimes overwhelming. They are made to feel at home and just like the rest. Hearing from teachers' experiences and students' elite I really appreciate the diversity my college thrives. I got admission in the morning batch because of the relaxation of 1% for the female gender. Maths had to be a compulsory existence in my list of subjects for the final calculation of my %, with a maximum of 60% in 12th. For Satyawati day the admission process was actually quite systematic and authentic, way better than in the evening in terms of time and quality both.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I opted for B.Com (H) solely to pursue my dream of being an MBA degree holder. The teacher's faculty here is quite diverse. Where there are some teachers who do anything for the betterment of the student, for the utmost growth of the students, there are some who don't really bother about students and do their boredom job. Not to mock anyone but this thought has crossed my mind many times ki how can they be the teacher of such an astounding university. Today being in the 4th semester, every past semester there has been a teacher about whom I have complained to the higher authorities because of the way they taught and did partiality and injustice. There were some teachers who amidst this pandemic with their family carings to take did their 101% best for us. Words are not enough to praise the efforts they have put in. Clearing an exam here depends on your potentiality solely. Nothing is unachievable and tough.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

I have not been involved in any internship and placement opportunity like I said earlier because I'm just a second-year student yet. But hearing from the seniors and the rest of the facility is not up to the mark. I guess I cannot really tell you apt because I'm not experienced myself.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college has really affordable fees and it makes me think how convenient it would be for the students from the lower section of the society. I have a friend from such a background and from my experience I can tell how grateful it feels to just have that satisfaction they feel because their situation holds on the chance of affecting their chance to excel. I really appreciate this thing. About placement opportunities and all, I'm still in my 2nd year and I haven't got a chance to get involved in these things through our placement cell and other societies are working beyond par to bring in worthy seminars, ted talks, and internship opportunities, organizing trade fairs ravishing the fests.

Campus Life

3.5

Frankly speaking, I did not get a chance yet to enjoy campus life. It's been 2 years and for 1.5 years we are at home and the initial 0.5 years went by just settling down in the new environment away from our hometown. Seeing in my college, I really like the infrastructure of my college with the big ground, well-equipped libraries and other facilities astounding. The library here is well equipped with apt no of books enough for the students of a batch. The classroom is not modern but is quite efficient to render as a healthy environment of learning. There are many co-curricular activities going around, students get engaged in full fling. Students union here is quite overwhelming. The way these guys unite and stand for each other is like war. The various societies we have at our college are in themselves gracing their path. Many students are involved in their startups and run their NGOs too. It feels at home.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
