Once a Xavieren's always a Xavieren's ??

For my UG I had applied for colleges like St.Xavier's College Ranchi, St Xavier's College Kolkata, IPU, etc. All of these colleges were required to write an aptitude test. IPU was only an option for me although I had secured a rank under 2000. St. Xavier's College Kolkata I could not get BCom accounts honors because they don't allow those who didn't have mathematics in their intermediate (11-12th) and lastly I had best and only option st. Xavier's College Ranchi. It was one of my dream colleges. I wrote entrance and I qualified for it and finally enrolled in Xavier's Ranchi. No, I didn't avail my quota. Admission criteria for this college are first you have to write an entrance exam which is quite easy for anyone then on the basis of your entrance + intermediate marks they select you accordingly. For BCom accounts honours it was not required to sit for an interview but some other streams like BBA,ba you have to give an interview and according to all these systems one gets chance to study here

I choose Bcom because commerce was my stream in my intermediate and also I wanted to prepare for Chartered accountant. There are 7 sections of Bcom in my college and each section having around 130 Students which I think is a little bit crowded and you can find difficult to study if you're sitting on the last or 2nd last bench but this crowd you'll find only in Bcom accounts honors, All the other streams have around 40-50 students in their class. I think we have around 15 professors for total subjects starting from semester 1 till last semester. Talking about teaching style all the teachers are so experienced and efficient that they teach very well that if a person really wants to grab knowledge and study then they will never find the problem in studying.As all the professors are highly qualified. Talking about exams they use to conduct 2semester in one year and semester have mid sem in it.mid sem of 20 marks end sem of 80 marks. Questions are very basic you'll never find difficult to study.

If talking about fees then fees from 1st year till 3rd-year fees will constantly decrease accordingly. For my stream, it was 32000 for the 1st year including 700 for the 1st and 2nd semester. In the 2nd year, fees were almost dropped to 25000 including 700 for both 3rd and 4th semester and in the last year, there were only 22000 rupees for 3rd year including 700 for both 5th and 6th semester. And the most interesting thing in my college is that you'll get almost 90% of fees refunded if a person belongs to st/sc or obc caste system. But only if their parents have income less than 1Lacs. This is very good for those families whose income is not much but they wanted to teach their students in a good college. There are also options for payment in installments. Yes now coming to campus selection this college is really good at this. there are so many companies coming here for campus recruitment even for undergraduate level. Even companies like Deloitte,tcs,Vedanta etc offers their job for students here

Believe me or not it's a proud being a part of Xavierens. Starting from day 1of my college I really enjoyed it so much. All the student's teachers are very friendly. But here teachers are strict with the attendance otherwise everything is fine. The environment behind the main gate of our college has some different vibes. From Studying in classrooms, labs, and library each place has its own enjoyment. But there are some strict rules like you have to wear your I'd card always. There is a professor I won't take his name but he doesn't like to see male and female friends together on campus. Expect him all the teacher won't have any problem in or outside the campus with any students. Every year, Fest is being conducted for the students. Sports day is being celebrated any many other functions where students get a chance to perform. No need for any books each Professor gives their own notes in the class but if u want to study from the book then u can definitely issue that book from the library easily.
