Remarks

I applied for K.C.college also but I didn't take admission in it because H. R college was much better and my dream college. I applied through the Sindhi quota and got admitted. Admission criteria were 70% and plus in 10th std for Sindhi quota. The admission process was nice there was a group of students from 'Rotract Club Of H. R. College' for helping us with the admission process and guiding us about the premises of our college they were very helpful and kind.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose b.com because I planned to do CA. The faculty was great teachers were very professional and with extremely high knowledge and experience they knew how to handle a class full of 100-150 students and also how to make them learn easily without any problems

Internships Opportunities

4

I have done an internship with Youth India Foundation, Churchgate Chapter this is a foundation so didn't get any stipend but the work was good I enjoyed it and I was offered in the PR (public relations)team of this foundation.

Placement Experience

5

I haven't applied for any job placement because of studies but surely will apply after the third year and they also provide us placement now also and placement cell of H. R. College is the best they provide placement in big 4 and many other MNCs placement from H. R. College is the best.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is good. Due to my admission through Sindhi quota fees were minimal and worth it. I haven't got any job till now because I still study here I am in the second year of my degree in college.

Campus Life

4

The campus of H. R. College is the best and the social environment the clubs, the events, canteen, terrace, classrooms everything was great a whole different vibe from our daily life chores. There are so many clubs in our college like rchr, echr, sindhi sangat, nss, mvm, etc. And a major club students council who help our college in the admission process and also in major events like sports day they volunteer in these events.

Interview Experience

4

Yes, there was an interview/test kind of thing because we were taking admission through the Sindhi quota we were asked to talk in the Sindhi language and they asked questions about our culture to know that we are aware of our language and culture. I actually didn't prepare anything I didn't even know that we have to do this interview round to get admission.

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
