Asansol Engineering college is one of the top-rated colleges in India in terms of courses offered and campus placements and when I saw about this college I was totally stunned by its beautiful campus and each and every facility are available on campus ex-stationery shops, food courts, medical facilities, and overwhelming hostel facilities. The admission generally starts from august and based on your Wbjee and Jee rank you get admission. You can also take direct admission through the management quota.

I have chosen this course because the field of electrical engineering offers unique opportunities to make a real difference by being responsible for a wide range of technologies, from the global positioning system that can continuously provide the location of a vehicle to giant electric power generators. As per the Aicte guidelines, the student-to-faculty ratio must be a minimum of 1:15 so our college maintains a ratio of 1:15 under the Aicte guidelines. The professors in our college are highly qualified and have a lot of experience in both the corporate and teaching field. They provide the best guidance to the students and helps them in each and every field. Exams are held two times every semester and it's easy to crack if you study properly throughout the year

Our college basically doesn't have on-campus internships so, students have to apply for off-campus internships. Several students get a chance to work as an intern in popular private companies like INFOSYS and TCS and also government defense agencies like DRDO, ISRO, etc.

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 5th semester basically after the successful completion of their projects and their successful implementation. Recruiters basically judge you on the basis of the quality of your project and your knowledge on ds and algo . Popular companies like INFOSYS, TCS, COGNIZANT, WIPRO, AMAZON and several others visit our college during the campus placements and offer jobs to more than 600 students for their company. The highest package offered in our college is 20 lakh per annum and the lowest average package offered is 3.5 lakhs per annum. As per the college report, 80-85% of the students get a job during the campus placements and the rest of the students opt for higher studies. My plan is to get a job in a good company with a satisfactory salary and great work culture.

The average fee structure for every stream is 4.8 lakhs for 4 years which is quite low as compared to other engineering colleges. The college also provides loan facilities in collaboration with SBI.So the students who need study loans can contact the college office.

Our college organizes tech fests like TECH MELA, AI MELA, etc. yearly and annual fests like AEC ANNUAL FEST, AEC SAMMAN, etc. to promote cultural songs and dances. Our college has neet and clean air-conditioned classrooms with proper ceilings and bench system and is also fitted with smart projectors. The library in our college plays a very important role by meeting thousands of needs of the students and teachers everyday throughout the curriculum AEC Hardware club and AEC Club Panache are some of the social groups run by the students and also contribute to social activities.
