Hindusthan is a well-known college in TN, and I did not apply to any other colleges coz my best and the first option was Hindusthan only. The admission process was very simple. The admission process is followed by 3 categories. 1.Management Quota 2.Based on percentage obtained in higher secondary ( cut-off) it's a Government quota for TN students only. 3.And the exams conducted by AICTE.

I am more interested in Mechanical areas/fields, so that is why I have chosen this Mechanical Engineering. In my class, there are 68 students in that surprisingly 3 girls also included. The staff members of the Mechanical Eng department are more friendly and well experienced, and students are trained well by PhD faculties and they were industrial and technical expertise too. so there is no difficulty to pass the exams. They provide the materials/Notes to students it's very helpful for them.

for the internship so many companies are there. On our campus, we have eicher internship programme for students. The workshop and training programme also conducted. If students doing the project means they will allow working in the dept lab itself. There was clear guidance from the teaching and non teaching staff on the projects.

Maximum IT companies will visit the campus. Students from computer science, IT has excellent placement records. They have companies like cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Infosys etc. For mechanical campus is quite poor. More than 70% of students are getting placed through campus drive.

For Management quota INR 1 lakhs/annum, for Government quota INR 70 thousand/annum, For first graduate INR 40 thousand/annum, and the fee may vary by the cut-off. The educational loan will be given from banks only if there are no arrears in academics. The college provides scholarships to students. Also, financial assistance is given to the students from the management. The fee was affordable to all students. students get placement training classes from the 6th sem itself. And some companies also visit the college from 6th sem onwards.

Hindustan is not a college it's a 'HEAVEN" for us. There is a college cultural which is conducted by our management "HILARICAS" is south India's biggest college cultural which is conducted on 14th FEB every year. And every 3 months department wise they conduct the dept symposiums. classrooms are well equipped with a board, desk, tables etc. every class have its own LSD projectors.

There is a wide range of rooms available in hostels. For 1sr years the hostels are same, from the 2nd years you have 3 types of hostels. 1.A/C deluxe 4 persons per room. Fee:1 lakhs per annum. 2. Deluxe 4 persons/room. Fee: 85000 / annum. 3. Non-deluxe 4 persons/room. Fee: 70000/annum. these fees include mess bill too. The quality of the food is not good. 1st year hostel which is far away from 2nd,3rd & final year hostel.
