Remarks
The admission here is based on the academic performance of the students in +2. The admission process for students from other states differs from the students from Tamilnadu. Students from Tamilnadu can get a seat either by TNEA counseling or under the Management quota. Students from other states should get admission under the management quota only.
Course Curriculum Overview
1) Automobile Engineering is the stream which needs immense interest and passion in Vehicles since my childhood I am very fascinated about vehicles. So that crave for them made me opt for this particular course and of course, it provides a lot of employment opportunities in the growing automotive field. So I strongly recommend joining this course for those who are interested in Vehicles. 2) Faculty to Student Ratio is very low here. On average you have 8 - 10 students per faculty which brings individual focus and care to students. 3) All the faculty members here comply with AICTE norms, assistant professors are master degree holders and professors and associate professors are doctorate holders in the stream. They adopt teaching methods that are student-friendly, practical, and industry-based. 4) 3 Internal Assessments(monthly once)along with end semester exams are there. Exams are knowledge-oriented if we have good knowledge they are not difficult and even highly scorable.
Internships Opportunities
1) As Coimbatore is an industrial area there are a lot of opportunities for the internship. Students can get a chance to work and learn in the nearby industries. 2) The automobile dept of the college collaborates with EDS technologies, Ambal auto, Cadd technologies, MAS technologies, and Jayalakshmi driving school apart of all those Eicher Competence and Skill Development is established in the campus itself where students can learn directly from there about the new automotive technologies.
Placement Experience
1) Several reputed companies are coming for the in-campus recruitments at the end of 6th semesters. And the institution is taking the placement of candidates as a primary responsibility. They provide a Special Placement Training program for the students in order to make them competent enough for the placement. 2) Recruiters like TCS, Infosys, Amazon, Capgemini, Ford, Royal Enfield, Eicher, Elgi, etc. are providing employment opportunities for the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
1) The tuition fee is around 60,000/- per year 2) We can pay the fee on an installment basis before the end of that particular year. 3) Students with good academic backgrounds are also provided with scholarships.
Campus Life
1) Department symposiums are conducted twice a year. College day fest, Fest on special occasions, Onam, Ugadi and Sankranthi celebrations and lot more are conducting. 2) All academic reference books and textbooks, international and national level technical journals, daily newspapers, weekly and monthly magazines, books for various competitive exams like UPSC, tnpsc etc, weekly and monthly current affairs magazines are enormous resources for students. 3) Digital classrooms with all amenities and sophisticated laboratories, industry-oriented hands-on training programs are there. 4) Sports and fitness clubs, Department of physical education are cherishing the life of students apart from academics and keep them physically fit. Fine Arts Club provides an opportunity to indulge the extracurricular activities like singing, dancing, painting, etc.
Hostel Facilities
1) Separate hostels are provided for boys and girls which costs around 60,000 per year. 2) Hostel rooms are provided with an individual cot, locker, study table, and chair, etc. The hostel premises are full of greenery and provide a peaceful atmosphere for the students. Gym, playgrounds, hospitals, shops, stationaries, canteens, and ATMs are available on the campus. 3) Food is delicious and hygienic and with different menus every day. 4) Rooms and pg are available in the nearby Malumichampatti junction which is 500 meters long from the college.
