LIFE AT HITECH??

I did not apply to any other college. I was determined to get through in this Institute. I got the seat through counseling. The admission process was a simple procedure and was greatly guided. A minimum of 60% in grade 12 or any other equivalent grade is required. It is advisable to join the course after taking the Biology - Math group in grade 12. The admission required a birth certificate, mark sheets, and transfer certificate.

This course is one of the newest courses in the field and has a great scope in India as well as foreign countries. The staffs here are very zealous and keen. The faculties make sure that we are dealing well with the basics and are always available to make sure to clear doubts. There are around 2 internal tests and one pre-semester, excluding the end semester examination. The question paper challenges the knowledge of the students, rather than their memory power. The valuation of the answer is similar to that of the end-semester valuation.

As I'm in my second year, I was not able to do an internship in this lockdown. We have approached some labs like Micro labs, Sterling lab through our staff for internship. And also we have done a line internship through Internshala during our semester holidays. In this pandemic time, we were not able to have hands-on experience in the industries. During the normal period, we are allowed to do mini-projects, and some product development projects in our lab even after working hours. Our staff and lab assistant guided and accompanied us and help us even after our college timing.

This is the first batch of our course under this institution. We're given placement training from our very first year and we strongly feel to get placed in good companies. Our college is known for its annual placement drive. The Institute has tie-up with top pharmaceutical companies, so the placement for eligible candidates is guaranteed. The annual package is initially low in this field. But in a while, it pays well.

The fee structure is based on various factors. The fees are convenient and reasonable. A number of scholarships are sanctioned. Some of those are based on the marks acquired in the scholarship exam.

The campus is always very lively with timely seminars and workshops. The college is well known for its annual fests in the months of February and March. The classes have good furnishings and are fitted with projectors, for students' interactivity. The library is well stocked with numerous books available at ease to students. The college offers various sports and extracurricular activities like athletics, cricket, dance teams, music teams, etc.

The institute provides hostel facilities for girls and boys. They're well built with sophisticated rooms and dining areas. Good care is taken in the sanitation of the hostel. The food provided is home-style. It is nutritious and delicious. The registration for a hostel is easy and simple. The fees fall in the budget range and it is worth it. The students are under the care of the hostel warden and are taken care of personally and are made to feel at home.
