Remarks
Admission to IIT Dhanbad is based on jee advanced rank. After jee, you have to apply for josaa counseling which conducts counseling for all IIT's, NIT, and IIIT's. Category criteria are like SC,ST,OBC,PWD And there are special criteria for girl candidates around 20 percent of seats are reserved for girls.
Course Curriculum Overview
As the institute is very good that's why you can choose any course like civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and IIT ISM Dhanbad is also very famous for mining engineering. The faculty-student ratio is the same as other IIT's. Faculties are very good all teachers are well educated. Term exams are like every other engineering College there are two semesters every year.
Internships Opportunities
Though I am in 1st year I don't know about it too much but according to the stats and previous year internship program, the internship is good like other IIT's. Many of the good multinational companies come for internships and placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are according to the government of India each IIT has the same fee structure around 1 lakh tution fees per semester and around 50 thousand other charges per semester. Some scholarships are also available based on anual family income.
Campus Life
The college infrastructure is very good and a large number of clubs and fests are there like literature fest,arka, astronomy club, and many more clubs. There is a huge library in the institute with the facility of an e-library
Hostel Facilities
A good hostel facility is there with the facility of gym, swimming pool, playground, and many other facilities. hostel rooms are good not too large but enough for two people. the registration process is very easy for the hostel. mess food is not great but it's good.
