Great Internship Opportunities for second year students

Admission criteria is based on JEE Advanced. Counseling was done through JOSSA.For admission in IIT one should score above 150 in JEE advance to enter in IIT Campus.Placements are good. There is the best infrastructure, and facilities are available 24x7. Placements: More than 96% of the students got placements until now. The average salary package offered here is around 12 LPA-17 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is around 90LPA offcampus(in 2021). Infrastructure: The infrastructure very good here, and the classrooms are newly constructed. Labs are perfect for understanding industrial basis operations and also most of the IIT ISM can only in ism campus. Wi-Fi is available all around the campus. The food served in the mess is good. Canteens are the best, and they are open up to 4 am at the night. Medical facilities are 24X7.

As you all know in this modern era how much important is computer know days that's why I choose Computer science and engineering as my discipline. Faculty to student ratio is average but now the college is improving this ratio and had appointed more than 300 faculty last year. All the faculty members are highly qualified, especially in Computer Science Branch. The teaching method is similar to all other IITs. Teaching is through the English language, ( no problem will be there). The exams are Mid-semester and final end semester exams. Now in online mode there quizzes in place of mid-semester exams. Exams are quite difficult but it totally depends upon you how you handle them.

Companies like Wipro, Samsung, reliance they give paid internships. The duration of the internship is 3 months to 6 months. The stipend depends upon the company in which you get intern it varies from 20000 to 35000. After the internship for a third-year student, they get placement in the same company in the final year. Some companies like Sparx, Bata they also give internship but they are unpaid.

From the second year, the students are eligible for internships. There are companies like Juspay, Bloomberg, Tata that give internships. The highest package in 2021 is 90 LPA. More than 150 companies come to campus. Above 96% of students got placed. The average package of on-campus placements is 12 -17 LPA.

The cost of the study is less when compared to other private institutions. There is a number of scholarship come to the college. There are a lot of financial assistance programs in IIT ISM such as MCM scholarship it is based on your merit list and it is provided to those students whose family income is less than 8 lakh.

There are 7 boys’ and 4 girls’ hostels, with an entirely separate one for the international students. There is a lot of annual fest in IIT Ism mainly in the month of January, July. You can find YouTube channels about this. Iit ism has the world's largest library in India. A lot of sports are there like cricket, football, karate, volleyball and many of them. It has also NCC. You can participate in a lot of intercollege curricular activities among other IITs.

Before Covid, in a single room, there are 2 students which share the room among themselves. But after the Covid, IIT Ism has constructed a new building so that students can get a single room. The meal menu is different for different days. The registration process for a hostel is very simple you can register it through the online portal on iitism website. The affordability of the hostel room is within budget. It is cheaper than the rooms available in the nearby areas of the campus (they charge 7000/month plus extra charges for food).
