Remarks

IIT DHANBAD Best in all programs especially in mining engineering. The admission process went smoothly and we pay 35000 for the counseling process. We availed OBC quota. But till now, we didn't visit college because of covid19.

Course Curriculum Overview

We adopted this course because it provides the best in India. And faculty are well qualified in their subjects. All exams are going on time, if u didn't listen to your teacher carefully then u can pass the exam.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies such as Google, Microsoft, coal India offered internships with stipend. They give many projects and teachers also help in it. They also give demo projects to the students for practice.

Placement Experience

Last sem students get placement. Recently many companies visited such as Google,Microsoft, amazon, coal India,and all companies related to mines,petro. Fews days ago, our senior got 90 lakh per annum. In mining engineering, the placement percentage is 100. Overall more than 91%.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is the same as in other IITs. But our college provides a lot of scholarships, financial assistance. And I also get benefits from it. Such as fee waivers, MCM,ISMAANA and many more. And also provide benefits to individuals state students. In MCM, It provides 10000 in 1 year. And fee waiver is also available. But we have to pay the hostel fee only. For sc/st students, they didn't have to pay tuition fees.

Campus Life

Basant is the annual fest and it begins in April-may month .and many other fests also occur. I think most of the required books are available in the library. Approx 1 lakh. All indoor/outdoor games are available on our campus. Many clubs such as Daemon,rithym, Light ism camera ,udaan,Arha ,fokofreaks.etc

Hostel Facilities

In the hostel, the single room is provided for every student. Ac+cooler system is available. In mess, meal quality is best. in a week, they provide 5 days non-veg. Once registered during admission, then no need to registered again and again. We have a big park nearby.

Hostel Fee: INR 4000 per year

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

1.The main thing about our campus, campus placements are so good. Branches like CSE & ECE have high placement percentage about 90. 2.From 3rd year students got involved college internships and programmes that allow them to better placements. 3.Top companies like Google,Microsoft,Amazon,Intel,Samsung etc visited our campus. Placement Experience:

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass
