Remarks

The college is really great, good infrastructure, faculty, facilities and everything that is required. One bad thing is that it doesn't have holiday on Saturday whereas every other engineering college in the city has a Saturday off.

Entrance Preview

72% in Diploma in Electronics and telecommunications. I had an option to go for electronics in a different college but I found interest in biomedical and thus I'm studying here.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course seems to be pretty good theoretically but lacks practical touch. They should've added more of practical experience for students which is really helpful in future. The lack of practical knowledge leads many of students to fall behind in the factory or industry sector where practical knowledge is really necessary.

Internships Opportunities

It does provide recommendation letters for internships. Every third year student has an option to do internship after the exams.

Placement Experience

4.5

The college has 100% placements for its students so its gives opportunity to all the students to work in their respective fields. Companies like Macquet, Wipro, Siemens come every year for picking up students who've applied for placements. Most of the students prefer to go abroad for further studies.

College Events

5

Trinity is the main event in this college, it consists of all technical, cultural events and is celebrate three days in a year. This event entirely takes out all the stress and tension that's present in a students mind. During the fest all the students are expected to enjoy it, keeping the books aside for a while.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees are a bit more compared to other engineering colleges since this provides AC rooms and labs which other colleges don't. The fee structure is around 1.3 - 1.4 lakhs per year. This includes gymkhana fees, semester exam fees and everything that's necessary for a student for the respective semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't applied for any loans but my college has an EBC facility where a student can get about 50% of the fees back if he's not able to pay such an amount for fees.

Campus Life

4

The college doesn't have a campus as such but there's enough place in the college itself for relaxing. The gender ratio depends on different departments for e.g Biomedical department has approximately equal number of boys and girls whereas the mechanical department is full of boys.

Hostel Facilities

4

The college doesn't have any hostel facility as such but there's a hostel nearby which is used by the students. The food facility in the college is really good and hygienic. The canteen is clean and food is also cooked in really hygienic conditions. There's never been a case even once that a student has fallen sick because of eating in the canteen.

Alumni/Alumna

A senior once told that the college has a really good repo which helps the students to go abroad for future studies. It's a well renowned college and this repo can help a lot in future.

Exam Structure

The college starts too early but an entire day isn't hectic as such. Proper time is left after the college for relaxing as well as for completing assignments. One day in a week is a bit hectic but the rest are well managed. Labs session are kept frequently and practical work is done only in lab sessions.

Admission

I got admission through online process in the first list itself. I didn't think twice before taking admission since I already got it in the field i wanted. I got the admission on the day itself I saw my name in the list. I had to fill some forms regarding my academics and pay the fees for confirmation of my admission.

Faculty

5

The faculty of the college is really well qualified. Most of the professors have completed their post graduation and have a really good experience in this field. Since all the faculty has expertise in the biomedical field, the always provide the adequate guidance and knowledge to the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
