Pushpa Arul Selvi J's Review On Teresian College, Mysore

There was no entrance exam for Degree admissions. I took B.com as i had to do my MBA in HR and this college was the best one for women in 2005 and till date.

Course structure was good and it helped in understanding the topic in detail and easily. It also helped in applying some logic in real life incidents. This college has the best teachers in accounts and taxation which help us in understanding the topic very nicely.

There was no internship provided when i was studying in teresian college. I am not sure whether they give it now.

Campus recruitment were conducted by Infosys, Accenture, IBM, CTS and many more but i could not attend any of those as i had my Hockey tournament on the same day, So i am not sure about the packages or the offers. After i graduated i attended the walk in interview in Bangalore for Infosys and i got selected and i am working in infosys Mysore now.

We conducted many event and few event were like Annual sport day, College fest. Annual day is all about sport, we organised Hockey, Athletics, Volleyball, Basketball, Handball, Baseball, Table Tennis. And We teresianites were the winner most of the years. College fest was one of the biggest event happened in any college in Mysore.

Fee structure was feasible. My fees for each Semester was around Rs 6000/-. Some Semester it was lesser than this. Comparatively the fee structure was low than other colleges and was affordable for all families. We also had computer classed conducted within the campus at low cost which helped us to study more about computer and few computing languages.

Alumni associated meeting will be held once in a year. I have been part of this for 4 year now, in Alumni functions we have lot of fun dancing, singing and few updates on college.

Exam structure was very much in a structured manner. I had taken Computer as a extra option and i had opportunity to learn many things in college. Exams were as usual making us stressed as it was a great thing to study and score good marks. Labs were the one thing which i loved to be in as we get to learn many things.

Admission process was very simple in 2005 for 1st PUC, i just had to fill in the application form and pay the fees. My mom and me gave a visit to the college and my mom liked the college and the environment around so i got admission in the college and passed out in 2009 completing my B.Com.
