AEC IS THE BEST

I have not taken admission in any other colleges because some of my relatives suggested me the ASANSOL ENGINEERING COLLEGE and it is also a reknown engineering college in India and also it is close to my hometown. Candidates seeking admission in the 1st year of Btech should have minimum aggregate of 45% marks in PCM. Those seeking admission in the 2nd year of Btech course should either pass Diploma course in Engineering/Technology/pharmacy from an Aicte recognised Polytechnic Institute with at least 60% marks or pass 12rh with maths as a subject and a degree in science (BSc) from a UGC approved universities with atleast 60% marks. I have got admission through my Webjee rank and during the first round counseliing i got my admission in this college.

I have chosen to study computer science because I am fascinated by how computer work and i spend most of my spare time designing programs and web pages because i enjoy problem solving and logical thinking.. Student to faculty ratio is very well maintained by our college i.e approximately 1:30. We have around 5-6 PhD faculty members in our department , and all our faculty members have vast experience in the field of academics.

Most of the students in our collge apply for internships in most of the popular companies like like TCS ,INFOSYS, HCL and several other companies as a web developer or a software developer.Some of the internships are paid and some are unpaid. So based on your skills, experience and knowledge you get an internship. And in paid internship the stiphend offered is nearly 10000 which is quite sufficient .

Students become eligible for placements from the 3rd year after the completion of thier on campus or off campus internships . Most of the MNCs like TCS, Cognizant , Wipro, Infosys ,Tech Mahindra , Capgemini ,Hcl ,Persistent visit our college every year. The highest packed during the campus placement is offered by Infosys i.e 15lakh per annum for the post of Chief Security Officer. Around 80% of the students gets placed during the campus placements in good companies with a very good salary. My plan after getting the degree is to continue with my higher studies.

The fees of our college is 4.8 lakhs for 4 years of Btech in any of the engineering courses offered which is quite affordable for most of the students and the college also provides bonafide certificate to apply for study loan . The college also provides financial assistance to the students who are financially weak and are excellent in thier academic curriculum.

Our college has a vast library with enormous amounts of books and journals and ample stocks availble and are sufficient for the requirements for all the students and the faculty members. Our labs and classrom are very big with proper lightings , air conditioned and are equipped with modern gadgets like smart screen projectors , wifi , loud speakers and so on.
