Learn with fun

I opted for so many colleges of Delhi University, but at last, I chose Miranda house because of its name and fame, well-maintained campus plus its ranking on NIRF. I still remember that I was fully new to this process of admission. But there were so many volunteers to guide us. And the whole process went so smoothly. At the time of fees payment, we were facing some issues, but the volunteers did not deny to help and they guided us on what to do. Overall, my mother was also happy to see the college premises and safe environment there. It was a good experience for me.

I chose my course as physics honors because I was weak in this subject and I wanted to overcome my fear related to it. I have heard that the physics teachers of Miranda house are very brilliant and helpful to make a student learn gradually. I found so many good teachers here. The classes were being on time and the presence of teachers was 90 percent that is so good as compared to other colleges. I heard that in some colleges they got no classes as well as notes. I feel lucky in this perspective being in Miranda house. The level of understanding was so good. We had to prepare notes given by the teachers which help in understanding at the time of examination.

This course Is not really related to any company that we can get a job or placement. But yes we got so many opportunities for project making and internships. There were various tests that could decide our luck for the internships.

The increase in fees was just about 1000 rs. per year so overall this course made me pay about 50,000. I got financial assistance worth 7000 in my second year. Unfortunately, I was not able to get a job with a stipend.

The annual fest of Miranda is known as Tempest, which was held for three consecutive days named DJ night, band night, and star night. Miranda is famous for its Tempest. Meanwhile, there are so many tech-fest that used to be held in the college premises such as every department organizes its fest every year. From time to time, workshops are organized which help a student to grow and learn new things. There were so many societies for the students to show their talent. The library is one of the best parts of the college. We used to issue the books for our course from the library only. There are plenty of books by so many authors that we can read. The course doesn't matter which we are from. We had all the rights to read and issue any book we wish.
