Me, being a B.Tech student in Techno International New Town college was admitted through Jee Main. The college has two types of quota one through Jee Main and other similar Exams and another through management quota. But a student must get 75% and above to get admission in any degree course in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty members in this college are very helpful and pay attention to individual students. One good side of the college is it has Mentoring program where 15 to 20 students forming a group are under a Mentor(professor) who guides them in everything. I chose B.tech in Computer Science and Engineering because it has many scopes in the field of work and also because I have an interest in programming. Professors teaching in my college are highly educated and qualified to have P.hd degrees. The tests are taken in a period of time continuously aiming for the all-around development of the student. Professors focus on building concepts and the foundation of core knowledge in the students.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, Our college provides internships in different bigshit companies like Tata Wipro, etc. It also has a student exchange program through which students get to study abroad in countries like Germany China Japan etc.
Placement Experience
Me Being a first-year student in the college and also because of pandemic did not get to interact with the seniors or the alumni and ex-students. But from the interactive sessions with the ex-students who are placed in good Companies, I came to know that the placements are good. Our College has tie-up with big companies who come for campussing and job offers. Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of b.tech courses including all the charges will be 4 lakh 10 thousand in 4 years. Scholarships are available for financially weak students. And the college also provides training and placement assistance. Conducts Seminars and Webinars.
Campus Life
Due to the pandemic, we are doing online classes and did not get the chance to attend face-to-face classes with professors in the college campus. As much as I heard from professors that many extracurricular activities are held in college. There are freshers, tech fest, different competitions, annual sports events, e-sports events, Webinars & seminars,etc.
Interview Experience
I was admitted through Jee Mains. The criteria for admission is 75% in 12 Boards. The college has its own tests for evaluating the student's eligibility for their admission but the students who are getting admitted through Jee Mains or similar exams need not go through the tests.
